Derps also found the pilot of Disney TVA's Thunderbeards from 2012 This is one of the final Disney TVA fully animated pilots behind the Disney Vault.
Fully animated pilots where dropped on 2014 with Billy Dilley's Super Duper Duper Subterranean Summer,Douglas Furs and Very Important House.
Disney TVA is NOT allowed by Disney to have a shorts program like Cartoon Network (Cartoon Network Shorts Department, Cartoon Cartoons) and Nickelodeon (Nickelodeon Animated Shorts Program,Nickelodeon Intergalactic Animated Shorts Program)
I watched Thunderbeards (another rejected DTVA pilot) and I have only one thing to say.
WHY WASN’T THIS PICKED UP?
It has a nice art style (at least for pilots, since I know art style can changed in the pilot), goofy characters (except the prince guy. He is a jerk), and good fight scenes. A group of viking warriors who have cool beards to boot is a thing that I can see on a kids network.
I feel like the main problem is when it takes. The climax takes place in a modern day city, despite.
Big problem, I like Thunderbeards and I’m sad that it is just a cartoon pilot that was leaked instead of a full time series like Penn Zero and Wander Over Yonder.
Maybe in another universe, Thunderbeards was a actual show but Fish Hooks wasn’t.😳 That’s a strange thought.
