Logan/Laviah.
Logan: what’s worse: the ugly truth, or a pretty lie?
“I want to say an ugly truth but I know that a pretty lie is worse.” Eydie smoothed her skirt, the cheap fabric sticking to her newly rough hands. “I don’t… I don’t like being lied to.” She shook her head. “Levi wouldn’t lie to be, so I guess I’m not used to people just lying right to my face.”
Not like my parents did.
Laviah: if you could spend a day in the life of anyone, who would it be?
“I used to say that I wanted to be an angel.” Eydie kept her eyes trained to the ground. “But I think I would just want to be someone that doesn’t know about angels and the like. Someone non-religious. Someone that doesn’t have all these expectations of how she has to be.” Her tongue darted out. “I’d want to have a career or something. Maybe?”
