Whatever you do don't think about John and Sherlock sitting apart from each other and John is holding Sherlock's hands softly and rubbing his thumb over his palms to calm him down because Sherlock can get very very caught up in his work and can lose touch with everything and having that contact with John helps him regain himself and it's almost as if John is the only thing keeping Sherlock rooted to the ground.
