i think she’s more a minor character cause all her storylines lead back to rory, even if they involve someone else(i.e. paris becoming editor, her first date with jamie, the whole francie thing) they ALL had to involve rory or else it would feel off

i agree. most of her scenes, if not all of them, had rory in them. sometimes she was with lorelai (and a few i think w/just doyle) but she never had her own storyline

i am so sorry, people are so dense

im just so confused about what people think "minor" means? like lorelai and rory are about 80% of the show and the only "real" main characters. people need to chill i just followed what wikipedia called main and additional main characters.
