Thunderstorm

The softness of your breath against my neck slowly dripped down my neck like droplets, causing a shiver. Your laugh the thunder that shook my core, and the electric feeling I once earned I labeled your lightning.

   Beauty at its finest, savage yet gentle, for thunderstorms are far less dangerous than other things in this world.  You were as unpredictable as the wind, the cold chill of a storm that lingers far too long when you get soaked to the bone. 

  You loved me like there was no tomorrow, set my heart ablaze when your lightning struck down. An anomaly. Your love drifted, leaving the once overcast skies to turn bright blue, leaving me breathless and burned out. An ember that was washed away before it could even think about building a fire.  

You were a thunderstorm of love, the sound of my beating heart the only evidence that you were there.

Warning for Flashing Lights and Loud Sound!!!

We’ve got a big storm coming through and it’s directly above us now, which I am stoked about.  You can even hear my storm chimes going in the background.  They’re really big, made of iron pipes, so normal winds can’t make them chime.  I love getting to hear them!
