peacock blue: is your muse honest? what sorts of lies do they tell, if not?
that would depend on who they’re speaking to. harry is only ever fully honest with his best friend peter, and while he tends to avoid telling lies, he will withhold information when he doesn’t fully trust anyone. in front of their stakeholders, however, harry can pull out his charms and say a little white lie or two if it meant they were going to get what they wanted.
honey: when your muse loves someone (whether it be romantic, platonic, or familial love), how do they show it?
in his childhood years, harry only ever received love in the form of material goods. he’d only ever been exposed to getting what he wanted because he was rich and people were quick to fall at his feet. it wasn’t until he met the parkers that he found out that there were other forms of showing people how much you loved them. confused he may be, harry had longed for the type of love that the parkers had for each other. and because it was the only way he knew how to show love for someone, harry tends to spend an obnoxious amount of money for people he cared about. he’s been trying to figure out other ways he could show them how important they are to his life, but until then, he’s going to be spending money for his friends and loved ones.
silk: does your muse care about appearances much? do they spend a lot of time on their own appearance, or do they just go with the flow each day?
harry cares a great deal about his appearance. he spends a lot of time making sure he looked his best, with majority of his time spent on perfecting his hair; his hair, after all, is his crowning glory. he takes great pride in his looks because he knows he looks good and he’s not one to shy away from praise of his looks. and being thrown into the savage lands wasn’t doing anything good for his hair, which was definitely throwing him off of his game.
atoll: if your muse could go anywhere, without any restrictions whatsoever, where would they go? why would they go there?
his father’s personal office. as a child, he wasn’t allowed to go inside norman osborn’s office because he was told that he might be disturbing his father. as a teenager, he wasn’t allowed still because children were not allowed inside, and harry had subsequently been thrown to london for the remainder of his high school years. now in his 20s, it was ingrained in harry that he was not worthy enough to even visit his father inside his own office. harry wanted to know what secrets norman osborn kept inside his office and find out why he didn’t want harry inside.
to be fair, matt wasn’t one to let his guard down when in a situation like this. it’s why he hasn’t taken his mask off just yet. they were in the middle of a jungle (supposedly) and he’s out here, still in his suit. “i’d say the same thing to you, kid.” he’s not one to doubt or down anyone else’s abilities, but it wouldn’t hurt to be cautious all the same. “be careful not to lose track of what you need.”
Matt really hadn’t wanted to get out of bed. It had been nice to lay with Elektra and ignore the city as it passed them by while they alternated between resting and entertaining themselves.
Elektra mentioned sneaking out to her penthouse to get fresh clothes and a few other things. Matt had nodded sleepily and waited for her to leave before he’d drifted off to sleep.
It wasn’t long before the familiar sounds of the city pulled Matt out of his slumber. He’d been missing since before the Snap, so he didn’t think that anyone would be looking for him, presuming there had been anyone else to look for him. He had no one to contact and yet he was restless.
Matt knew that traffic was going to be even worse than usual because of everything that had happened. That meant that he had a lot of time before Elektra returned. He grabbed his suit and decided that Daredevil should take one last loop around the city.
It felt odd to be here and be Daredevil again, but he fell back in to his pattern easily enough. It wasn’t long before he heard a rather loud dispute in a warehouse and that only ever meant one thing. As he drew closer, he could hear angry words and fingers tapping triggers.
It made sense that everyone would be restless now, especially the criminals. They’d had months to grow and expand operations, only to have that threatened by in influx of people returning to both sides. He swung closer to the warehouse and landed on the roof. He slipped into a skylight and silently landed on the upper catwalk behind one of the gang members. It was easy to put him in a choke hold and leave him off to the side. He slipped along the upper level, wanting to take down as many people as he could before the shooting, and the dying, started.
so they were still in dinosaur land. he would’ve thought that with the acid rain, something else might happen. like, oh, a portal opening to their reality? apparently not. “at least it’s calmer now,” he thought out loud as he joined peter in the compound. “none of the dinosaurs trying to kill us today, which is nice. mj and i almost got ourselves hacked off but it’s all good.” harry had been laughing and distracted until he remembered that peter wasn’t supposed to find out about that. “i didn’t say anything. anyway, how are you pete? playing pranks on reed with johnny lately?”

a tired smile was on his face as his clasped his hands together, his walking stick leaning on his chair and his files on peter laying idle on the desk. it was a miracle matt even managed to find space in planet doom to continue his legal practice, not forgetting the fact that he had to learn new sets of laws with how impulsive their supreme overlord seemed to be when it came to enacting laws. “i do what i can to stay awake. coffee is a good option.” he pulled the file closer to himself and put his fingers on the paper as he read. “now mister parker, you mentioned being framed for murder while we were in the savage lands. am i correct in assuming that this was the quentin beck video and was released by the j. jonah jameson?”

well he’s not wrong there. doom’s castle looked the part of imposing and egotistic, and he can’t exactly deny that the man was dramatic. doom lived on the dramatic, if there was anything at all that would always remind reed of the other man. “his furniture is just as imposing, i’m assuming.” as much as reed felt sorry for the man before, his ego made it quite hard to do so. “he lives for drama, if i remember correctly.”

there are many things she would like to do: take a long, warm bubble bath, watch movies that aren’t about doom, go on a date with johnny. strangling peter and his weird sense of humour was also in the list. she was incredibly unimpressed at his attempt to joke. “bananas? seriously? how are you close friends with my boyfriend?” then again, she’s never actually hung out with johnny and peter at the same time; johnny could very well be the influence and peter merely absorbing.
SILK: does your muse care about appearances much? do they spend a lot of time on their own appearance, or do they just go with the flow each day?
erik both cares about his appearance and doesn’t care about his appearance. it depends on what situation he is in. is almost always impeccably dressed? yes, yes he is. will he be willing to get down into the mud and blood and tear his clothing? absolutely. he’s practical and though he strives to at least start out looking good, he understands that life is messy.
SANGUINE: does your muse typically have an optimistic, pessimistic, or some middle ground outlook on life?
erik is a realist who leans towards pessimism. he see’s life as dark gray. he relies on charles for the optimistic point of view to balance him out, but ultimately he lives on by understanding that people are often ‘disappointing but unsurprising’.
AUBERGINE: does your muse prefer the day, or are they more of a night-owl?
erik doesn’t much care for the time of day, though he would tell you that he enjoys the morning when its verging from night to day. so essentially erik prefers dawn and dusk.
