“didn’t see that comin’, did you?”

it has been some time since thor’s come back to midgard, WHICH, steve would like to remind, thor swore to protect. anyway-- naturally the best way to catch up with an old friend is close-combat sparring, at least according to steve rogers. thor left him as captain and came back to him as  commander, so the solder felt he did have just a little something to prove. (read: absolutely nothing has changed since he was 8 years old.)
