jemma was always rather optimistic even in the worst of situations and she wasn't sure whether their current situation was living up to that yet. however, she also knew it was getting close. she had tried countless options and fixes to get them back home or at least let home know where they were but all of her ideas failed. failed was an understatement. there was no logic or reason behind it; it just didn't work and it was slowly starting to chip away at her. jemma knew they had to keep together, stay close and look after each other if they were ever going to get through this because this -- it seemed that it was becoming more permanent by the day.
it was her day off, well not really but she was taking a well deserved break and she knew exactly who she was going to spend it with. she just hoped they wouldn't be too resistant. "okay, that is it. up you get. come on -- chop chop. i don’t have all day." jemma marched into his apartment, a woman on a mission; trying to keep bossy because once she let up she'd probably be sat with him stuffing her face with snacks too. "i know i am in no place to judge but this? this is really rather unhealthy and as a friend and someone who is truly worried about you -- please come with me? we can do whatever you like but outside. you know... breath fresh air?” her tone was already faltering because she wasn’t really the bossy type but she just wanted to help and maybe he needed a stern approach? time would tell. “you may also want to put on a top,” her eyes drifting even though she didn’t want them to. “or not? i mean --” focus jemma, focus.
