Genuine question! What d'ya think Cheritz were cowards for not putting in the game? 👀

At this point, I think if they were only going to do ONE MORE THING, then they should do Valentine's DLCs for Saeran and V. That's literally something that leaves the game feeling incomplete.

Every other route in the game has a Valentine's DLC, and with V and Ray left out, you can see a void. They might argue that since V and Saeran both got DLCs for their After Ends, the Valentine's DLC isn't worth it, but I think it is and the fans would appreciate being able to have a nice date moment with our love interests. The fact that they have never done the bare minimum with these missing DLCs haunts me every day. Considering V's hardly in his own After Ending, I think his fans deserve actual time with him.

But, like, as far as other elements go? There are a lot of nit-picky things I could point out that could've been done better or differently. But, I'd be here all day if I pointed out every little detail. I wish the Secret End had way more time to explore Saeran's survivor's guilt. I want to know how he feels about V... I want to know how Jumin feels about it whenever he sees Saeran because he's one of the only people who knows what happened.

I want to see the aftermath of what that looks like rather than having to fill in the blanks myself. There's so much we don't know, and I think it's crazy to think they added in an accidental murder but—we never see how it makes Saeran feel! If you're going to put it in there, should we not explore it? But, hey, that's what fanfiction is for and I already wrote a long fic about that.

So like... if I just picked up Unknown when he came through the window and like... kept him there. Him struggling while I'm just tryna jeep him from pressing the button. And then seven comes in just to hear angry yelling in both English and Korean.

I have no clue where I'm going with this just imagine unknown swaddled like an angry cat in a blanket burrito while I'm sitting on him to make sure he doesn't go anywhere. And then the absolute panic attack seven would have :D

Can you imagine how peeved Unknown would be if you decided to stop him from going through with his plan? But, at the same time, the mental image of you wrangling Unknown like you're trying with every bit of your might to hog-tie him until Saeyoung shows up? It's sending me into a fit of laughter.

Like, you're solving a lot of problems right now, but I think you're going to need to give Saeyoung a bit of time to process this. He's got you there, his new little brother figure, trying to contain his hissing twin brother from destroying everything, and everything's a lie all the while Unknown is just:

Does he only go by Saeran because that's what everyone calls him??? Broski dya wanna change your name????? I changed mine!! We can be changed name buddies!!! :D

I mean, Saeran has his identity wrenched away from him more than once no matter how you want to look at it.

He has such a struggle with his identity because he's never been able to exist freely as himself. Baby Saeran started to learn about himself but by the time he began to make sense of it, he was wrenched away to Mint Eye at the flip of a hat. Ray made something of himself, but he himself said that he wasn't meant to exist, nor was he supposed to be remembered. He was supposed to be a tool and nothing, and the player loving him and seeing him made such a difference.

It's the same for Suit Saeran. The only sense of identity he is allowed to have is that of anger and animosity. That is not the way he wants to identify, but he doesn't have any other choice. There is the threat of life and death on his shoulders, and he has to be what they want him to be. His name feels pointless because his name is used to weaponize him!

There are multiple scenes where he and Ray use their names to express what Rika said. “Ray is weak, Saeran is strong”. Their names are taken away from them, just as much as their overall autonomy. It is a bit harder for Unknown.

One of the reasons why many of us refer to him in that manner is because he feels so disconnected from his sense of self. His name means nothing to him anymore, and you can use it, but it certainly doesn't make him happy. He isn't able to connect to it. He is detached, and the only thing he cares about is getting revenge. He has no plans outside of that. He wants to get rid of the two people he hates more than anything and then himself. He doesn't need a name to do those things, and if they say his name, that just means they know who got rid of them and that's the only satisfaction he needs. 

So, like, with SE Saeran... he's just accepted being called Saeran because that's what his brother knows.

To him, he is so detached from that name and what it means to his brother and what it once meant to him. I don't know how much he identifies with his name in the end. It's just a name. It's a connection, and sharing that with his brother does help him a little bit at the end, but how much does he identify with it when it was seemingly taken away from him? It's an interesting conversation, and I too wonder what it would be like to talk to him about names.

SE LILA AND SEARAN MEETING THE ISEKAI AU-ED LILA AND SAERAN

it would he so heartbreaking but also kinda funny in a sad way, y'know??

SE!Lila seeing Isekai!Lilas long hair, but still seeing the exhaustion?? And I just????? I'm gonna hold em

God. See, like, in your Isekai Universe, Lila never has to live through the events that would've transpired naturally. She didn't become the one who leapt over the edge for love, she didn't throw herself on the wire to risk everything just to live, and she wasn't forced to lose what little faith in the world she had... and she didn't get shot in the line of fire trying to protect Saeran from something he'd regret.

She wasn't forced to look in the mirror on a very bad day... holding scissors tightly in her hands to make herself pay for her misdeeds against Minji. However, she experienced something else entirely. The severity of that situation was a lot for someone like her to handle. She spent all her time focused on trying to protect Spice and Unknown to the best of her abilities, clumsy as can be, but still somehow hitting the right marks for reasons she couldn't understand!

She didn't go through the experience that would have made her cut her hair in the same way that SE Lila went through. But, she didn't... escape the pain, either. It was just a different kind of pain. I think, if these two Lila's met, it would be hard... SE Lila is detached, much like SE Saeran is, but Isekai Lila has faith in goodness... she didn't lose it like SE Lila did.

I think the hardest part for SE Lila would be seeing Isekai Lila’s hair… Because her hair was everything to her… cutting it as haphazardly as she did was the best punishment she could think of at the time. In my mind, she might misunderstand first why another version of her in the same universe would be able to keep her hair, and maybe she would think that Isekai Lila didn’t suffer as she did…

But that thought wouldn't last very long… because their eyes tell the real story.

Isekai Lila: Even with the elixir being forced on you... your eyes still look lost.

Because, at her core, Lila has always been lost... and she finds herself by realizing her worth alongside Saeran. But, it's a lot harder for her... to find it in the Unknown timeline... just as it's a lot harder for Saeran to come to terms with his demons.

Oh, to tenderly hold Ray's dry hands in your own. That's something he hardly allows to happen because he's so afraid of what you might think of him when you realize he's chipped and broken at the edges. It is so important to him that you see him as someone who is perfect for you... and if you see blemishes... imperfections... what is he going to do? What if you hate him? What if you are disgusted with him?

He thinks that even as you try to reassure him and help him believe otherwise. His fear is palpable. But, your tender eyes are enough to make him question his fears... if only for a moment... because your warmth in his hands makes him feel like he was never lost in a frozen tundra to begin with.

So what I'm hearing is everyone loves to make GE flustered and/or short-circuit? Good. As we all should. >:)

Have you met a more deserving man than GE Saeran to be victim to the strongest possible teasing of a lifetime? I don't think so!

See, this is great in theory. But, remember, he is the kind of person who can recreate any experience he wants. If he wants to make the bunker into a 4D experience with water mists and wind, he will. Can you imagine trying to enjoy the television with him and he got what we can only call a genius idea on his party because he wants to live on the wild side? Watch out, everywhere is the splash zone!
