Tiallu Plays: Tiallu Illuwyd & Thorne Bailey

Back in winter, Tia and Thorne already decided to stop using protection. Finally, in the first days of summer, it happened. Tia tested positive for pregnancy. Time to furnish a room for the new family member.

Fun fact: If you remember my 2024 Christmas post, Tia was pregnant in that picture too. I moved a copy of Tia and Thorne into another save, where it was winter to take outdoor pics in the snow. Tia and Thorne woohooed once and Tia got pregnant. Back in my main save, Tia became pregnant the next time they woohooed.

Tiallu Plays: Tiallu Illuwyd & Thorne Bailey

“After the surprising divorce of yet another Simerican power couple, Tiallu Illuwyd and Thorne Bailey have been seen together around San My more often. Bailey, who moved to San My after his divorce, was introduced to Tiallu Illuwyd by Octavia Moon herself.”

I thought you'd appreciate a recap of what happened before the “Future Snippet” post. If you weren't following me on Pillowfort in 2023 already, you missed half of the story.

Tiallu was devastated by the divorce and needed someone to talk to. So I invited Octavia Moon and Thorne Bailey, the other power couple who unexpectedly divorced before. Well, not only did Thorne and Tiallu find each other extremely attractive, suggestive looks from Thorne included, but their personalities also matched. Long story short: They fell in love head over heels.

Interestingly, Thorne had been single for a while after he and Tav divorced. I introduced Thorne to various single women, but all became acquaintances or friends. The women Thorne found attractive were either taken or not into men. Tiallu and Thorne had met before. They even had a tiny friendship bar. But Thorne never made advances as long as Tiallu was married. Well done, Thorne.

Tiallu moved in with Thorne, but kept her house in Willow Creek. (In theory. Sims doesn't let you keep a lot you're not living on.) Fall and winter passed and spring came, and Thorne, the family man he'd become, wanted to put his money where his mouth is. He wanted to start a family with Tia: marriage, kids, and all that stuff. (The wish was mutual, btw.) Around Love Day, Thorne and Tia went on a short trip to Tartosa. The two had a lovely date on Love Day and Thorne proposed to Tia, who wholeheartedly said yes.

Thorne's bachelor pad was too small for a family, so Tia and Thorne had to decide where to move. Back to Willow Creek, or back to Del Sol Valley? Since Willow Creek was closer to San Myshuno and Tia wasn't made to be a big city girl, they moved into Tia's house in Willow Creek. (Witch shed, I missed you.)

Will you marry me, Merlyn Odelio Kendrick?

I guess now it's Merlyn's turn for sharing exciting news. Well, after I finished taking the Kiss a Ginger Day pics I let Merlyn and Hajar have a little chat and discovered some new romantic options. After that Hajar immediately got the want to marry Merlyn. Who am I to say no?

TialluPlays: Ryuu and Tomoyo

I switched over to my San My Squad save, because I thought it’s about time to find out who wins Ryuu’s heart. Both, Emre and Yusef, had romance and friendship bars with Ryuu, Yusef’s bars being higher than Emre’s. First things first. Since Tomoyo and @rebouks’ s sim Ashley are deeply in love and a couple, Tomoyo asked Ashley to move in which he did. So far neither Ryuu nor Tomoyo are fed up with Ashley’s habit of leaving his dirty clothes everywhere on the floor. A few days after Ashley moved in, Ryuu invited Yusef and Emre over to hang out in the evening. Well, Yusef gave Ryuu some suggestive looks as soon as Ryuu opened the door which Ryuu returned, but Yusef didn’t act on them the whole evening. Emre on the other hand asked Ryuu for sex. Which Ryuu declined because he felt a bit under the weather that day anyway. Until Yusef and Emre went home none of the three used romantic interactions autonomously. While Tomoyo introduced herself to Yusef and Emre, Ashley only talked to Emre the entire evening. The next day Ryuu recieved various calls. One by his best buddy Adrian who found a ring in his boyfriend’s bag. Since Adrian and Orion are engaged already in another save I had Ryuu tell Adrian to say yes. A bit later Emre called asking Ryuu if they should go on a date with J. Huntington III. Well, I thought, I don’t think Ryuu and Emre aren’t going to happen anymore, maybe Emre has more chances with J. so Ryuu encouraged Emre to go on a date with J.. A day later Ryuu invited Yusef over. I re-rolled Ryuu’s wants via the cheat menu several times, but not a single want related to Yusef showed up. Neither did they use a romantic interaction. But their conversation became more and more suggestive and ultimately they ended up in bed. (Pillowfort 🔞) While they were enjoying each other’s company Ryuu’s wants changed. He wanted to ask Yusef if he wants to be his boyfriend. Well, Ryuus search for love is over. (For now?) Yusef made by @hauntedplasma won his heart.

TialluPlays: Ryuu Yamato & Tomoyo Nanase

After Meg’s Bachelorette Challenge had to be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, Ryuu came home knowing a new side of himself. Two of his fellow contestants made Ryuu realize his best buddy Adrian was right all the time. His admiration for other guys did not solely come from Ryuu’s wish to be like them. In hindsight, he wanted to be with them. The word Ryuu had been looking for all these years was bisexual. Ryuu and Samuel, one of his admirers from the BC, continued to date after the BC, but it didn’t work out. Since then, Ryuu simply goes on with his life. He completed his traineeship and got a permanent work contract at Straud Pharmaceuticals. He saved up enough money to buy a used piano to practice and play at home. Mountain biking is still his favorite hobby. He takes counseling to work on his jealousy issues. And, of course, he continues dating. Well, he tries to.

While Ryuu was away Tomoyo got a little puppy called Pixel to keep her company. Pixel keeps her active in her free time. Unlike Ryuu she doesn’t like moutain biking but she also needs some excercise to make up for sitting most of the day at her job as a lawyer. Luckily Pixel likes Ryuu, too. Tomoyo is still into everything geeky and waits eagerly for next GeekCon. This time she wants to take Orion’s foster daughter Charlotte with her. Tomoyo is also an environmental activist. She regularly gathers people from their neighborhood to tend the plants and pick up trash.

Well, unfortunately @geeky-simz Love is Blind can’t be continued. A decision had to be made. I want Ryuu and Tomoyo to find their significant other. So I made a brand new save and put Ryuu, Tomoyo, and their mutual friends Adrian, Orion, Charlotte, Janet, and Salim in it. And I turned back time: this save starts shortly after Ryuu and Sam broke up. Let’s see where it takes me.
