as the resident ticket resale blog I'm starting to feel like I have to make a post because. listen. this is ridiculous

If one person sells their m&g ticket, you can buy that m&g ticket. If 15 different blogs that only have 4 posts from 2025 in their archive all suddenly sell their m&g tickets on the same day, you probably can't buy those m&g tickets!

so the win a meet and greet thing is fake. i’ve called multiple venues and all they had said to me is that they don’t know anything about it. no one has one it yet and they are supposed to do it at every usa show. so boom. f a k e

but why would dan and phil do the video that is introducing the meet and greet? Also, the Rosemont (chicago) venue is doing the meet and greet raffle so if you want proof, you can email them or call them yourself! I’ll try and find the link to the video that Dan and Phil did because it doesn’t make sense that they’d say there was a raffle and then there wasn’t

Helloo. I️ can’t say for sure how quickly, but from my experience from tatinof I️ can say they’ll go very very quickly. Here are a few simple tips though to maximize your chances:

Online) be on the site before 4pm and refresh at 4. If there are no VIP tickets available keep refreshing, there’s a chance you’ll catch one that someone else had to let go of. If you can, get a friend that loves you lots to try getting tickets as well and raise the odds.

Venue) you can actually call the box office for the venue or even go up to the venue and buy tickets. I can’t say 100% that it’ll raise your chances of VIP for every venue, but from the stories I️ heard from tatinof it seemed to be worth the awkward human interaction.

I'm not sure how one would verify this, as the resale note seems to go over where the note about it being gold would be, but it looks like there are two pairs of gold tickets for official resale on Ticketmaster for HL Denver.

thank you for the heads up! this one sent me down another rabbithole (because WHY would ticketmaster list them so unhelpfully. GOD), and while the Ticketmaster terms only say this:

Ticket Transfer allows you to send your tickets and some Extras digitally to your friends or family or to a resale purchaser of your ticket. Extras, including merchandise, VIP package elements, and fan club memberships originally purchased or included with a ticket may not be transferable.

... the consensus of multiple different reddit threads seems to be that you can get lucky by directly asking the venue staff for the VIP package that should have been tied to the seat, even if Ticketmaster hasn't transferred it with the ticket.

Question to those who have more experience with the Ticketmaster seating chart than I do: Since the accessible tickets still have the little wheelchair icon on them, but are also purple because they're resale tickets - would resale vip tickets also have the star icon? Has anyone seen that before, maybe for another event?
