I waved bye to Amy who had invited me over for some tea. She said she wanted to talk and it was a talk well more of an interjection about the feeling I may or may not have for a certain blue hedgehog.
I groaned at the thought as I continued my walk, the grass brushing against my ankles sometimes. I wasn’t sure where I was walking to.
But I was walking without stopping. Although I felt a brush of wind rush past me causing me to pause as I saw a flash of blue.
I felt my face flush slightly and not wanting him to see or comment on it I turned around and began walking away I didn’t make it anywhere before he rushed to stop in front of me I quickly crossed my arms as I tried to act the way I usually did Sonic grinned stray leaves in his quills “Hey Y/n!”
I nodded as I moved to step around him waving dismissingly “Hey sonic.” The sound of his footsteps following after me made my ear twitch. “So whatcha doing out here? I thought you were with Amy?”
I nodded as I tried to avoid looking at him “I was. And now I’m not. Now mind explaining why you're following me?” He shrugged as he began to circle me slightly as he spoke “what? Can’t I visit my friend?”
I scoffed as my eyes finally met his emerald ones. His eyes that had the ability to make my whole body freeze and my heart begin to beat out of my chest I looked away my voice slightly softer than before
“Then go find knuckles or tails.” He hummed as he walked around me, his hands clasped behind his back “Tails is working and knuckles is nowhere to be found. Are you really gonna leave me alone with no company?”
He stopped in front of me leaning forward causing me to lean back as he smirked at me softly I groaned as I shoved him back walking around him
“Fine. just don't be a bother to me or I promise I will ditch you.” He grinned as we began to walk together.
As we walked I could see we had made it close to the beach But knowing sonic this was as close as we were gonna get.
Proving me right I felt myself being pulled down to sit beside Sonic on the grass as I stared at him blankly. He only laughed, his eyes scrunching up as he did.
This hedgehog is gonna be the death of me. I shook my head as I stared out at the water it was silent and refreshing before I felt sonic’s hand scoot closer to mine our fingers touching I turned to look at him and as I did I found him already looking at me
“Y/n can I ask you a question?” Part of me really didn’t want to answer. But despite my better judgement I cleared my throat nodding once he saw my answer he interlocked our hands
“Do you like me Y/n? And I don’t mean friend like I mean like like me.” My eyes winded as I stared at him in shock.
There was no way in hell I could just say yes. Did Amy tell him? She wouldn’t not directly at least. Noticing I was taking a while to respond I cleared my throat turning away from him
“No way! Do I like you? That's ridiculous” despite my words he didn’t laugh instead he leaned closer to me, as I began to back up he placed his other hand on my left side keeping me in place “Are you sure?”
I gulped but nodded. Sonic sighed as his eyes moved to not just look at me but stare me directly in the eye “Hard way it is then!”
My eyes winded as he grinned Before I could speak I felt his hands dig into my sides I shook my head as I broke out into laughter trying to push him away but his hands seemed to move faster than I could think.
He laughed as he looked down at me “Aww your blushing!” I shook my head glaring at him but it didn’t last as I turned my head away “I am not! Your ahahahahha such A-A-ahhahaha Ass!” He gasped as he moved one of his hands to his chest
“I’m offended. Now you're really gonna get it.” I gasped as his hands shut under my arms as I tried to squirm away, unable too, I opted to wrap my arms around my body. Sonic stopped as I felt his finger trace my stomach slowly “common you can end this now just tell me that you like me.”
I shook my head embarrassed. And despite how I felt my tail was wagging banging against the floor sonic rolled his eyes as he sighed “More fun for me I guess.”
I squeezed my eyes shut expecting him to go all in put when nothing happened I opened my eyes and as soon as I did sonics hands shot behind him squeezing my knee’s
I squealed sitting up trying to grab his wrist but as I did one of his hands moved to squeeze under my arms causing me to fall back once more trying to escape his touch
“Hahaha! S-Sonic! Common ahahahhahaha this is hahahas so unfair!” He ignored my plea’s his eyes scanning every bit of me his hand that was tormenting my underarm moved away but before
I could speak his hand moved to tickle under my chin I squealed pushing my head down trying to get away sonic laughed shaking his head
“how did I not know you were ticklish before, I mean like how could you have possibly hid this from me??”
I shook my head trying to squirm away or at least lessen the feeling of his torturous tickles. Sonic snickered as he continued speaking “Well since you seem to be having such a hard time confessing your feelings for me I’ll help, I’ll ask you simple questions and each time you don’t answer I tickle you.”
His hands came to a pause as he rested both hands on my waist adjusting his position without waiting for me to answer. He cleared his throat “Okay question one, What do you like about my eyes?” I glared at him not wanting to answer but he waited one of his hands lifting I gasped covering my stomach
“I like how the sun catches them.” Sonic grinned lowering his hand “Aww I knew they were amazing but I’m glad you notice too. Now I guess the only nice thing to do is to return the complement. Lets see.. I love how your eyes always seem to focus on whoever your talking to.”
my eyes widened but before I could speak he moved on to the next question
“Question 2, will you finally tell me that you like me?” I paused, not answering even when he raised his hands wiggling his fingers. I blushed looking away sonic grinned
“Fine. be that way.” He shot his hands down but not to my belly this time but instead one hand moved to squeeze my thighs while the other went to my hips I squealed jumping up before falling back against the ground
“Sonic! Cohohohohomoon! Yooohohohou are so cheating! I hate youahahahahahha!” I yelled as I laughed trying to pry his hands off me but nothing I did seemed to work!
I squealed as one of his hands moved to trace behind my ear. I felt myself approaching my limit as I couldn’t even speak anymore just laughing as I felt tears prick my eyes.
I knew what I had to say to make it stop but ughhh it still feels so embarrassing Sonic slowed down slightly not totally stopping but enough to allow me to talk
“Anything you wanna say.” I groaned covering my face as giggles still poured from my mouth “Sonic..I like you..” I muttered the last half gasping as he squeezed my hip “I couldn’t hear you say it one more time?”
I glared softly before removing my hands from my face looking away from him embarrassed “Sonic I like you.”
His hands finally stopped as he instead pulled me forwards cupping the back of my head “Y/n. I like you too.” I stared at him as if I saw a ghost. “What?” He laughed getting off me and standing up offering his hand which I took allowing him to pull me up
“I said I like you too.” I blinked again tilting my head “What?” Sonic rolled his eyes, pulling me forward and kissing me softly. I stared at him as he pulled away. “Common, I have a great idea for what we can do next.”
He began to walk away but I stopped causing him to as well “So you mean to tell me you tickled me and made me confess first because what?” He turned his smile not falling as he shrugged “Seemed funner.”
I nodded slowly “seemed funner? Alright then. I guess I’ll just have to return the favor.” Sonic’s eyes widened but his smile didn’t fall as he pulled his hand from mine running ahead a little “Well then you're gonna have to catch me first.”
He began running away leaving me to chase after him. I laughed as he didn’t actually use his speed not wanting to ruin the fun. Both our laughter echoed through the air as we played.
