Favorite thing about them: For Homura, I think it's her resilience, the way she kept going and refused to give up on Madoka, even after endless failures to save her. It's tragic, but it's also really touching. For Mami, I love characters that have tough exteriors, but are really soft on the inside...it's not that Mami is tough or cold the way Homura is, but she has to keep up the Cool Older Sister/Mentor thing when she's more scared and alone than anyone else in the cast. I felt that.

Least favorite thing about them: I used to really hate Homura's post-Rebellion slip into "evil," but now that I would do the exact same thing in her position uhhhh who's to say 🤪 I'm not a huge fan of Moemura, I guess? I think it's cool to see her transformation from the person she used to be to...All That, but on her own. More like Mehmura amirite. For Mami, I think the fanservice they start emphasizing is weird, she's like 15...I'm not one of those people who can overlook that "because she's fictional," I think it's still weird to ogle 15 year olds, sorry

Favorite line: Well. The famous line from Homura about love. A feeling stronger than hope and deeper than despair. That shit hits different. And Mami's whole thing about feeling light because she's not alone anymore. Right before the Charlotte fight. Devastating.

BrOTP: ...I find it really hard to see Homura bro'ing it up with anyone tbh...Mami and Madoka is a brOTP though. Like I implied before though, I see them as like a cool sister dynamic. Close enough

Unpopular opinion: Homura Did Nothing Wrong lmao is that too obvious. Idk my opinion on Rebellion has changed a lot over the years. Especially in my current headspace. Damn. Anyway...unpopular opinion about Mami...idk if this is unpopular, but I just don't like her whole shoehorned thing with Charlotte/Nagisa? I get that the Charlotte thing is iconic, I love Charlotte, but she was killed by her in one timeline, it ain't that deep. And I just don't like Nagisa that much, so seeing her be paired up with my fave constantly now just so she has a companion. Maybe that's an evil way to think but I Don't Like It

I love...Sizz-Lor from Invader Zim...and The Tallest...and Applejack from My Little Pony. There are probably other kid's shows I'm forgetting rn lmao

34. What's your book/TV/movie guilty pleasure?

There's so many shitty low budget movies that I genuinely love, like Blood Beat, New York Ninja, Wishmaster, Christmas Evil, pretty much anything Neil Breen makes...I love finding weird little movies like that and seeing if they click with me or not. Even if I end up hating them, it's a fun experience for me, most of the time

37. What's an uncommon/specific/obscure topic you're interested in?

My keyboard keeps fucking up the question and I don't know why. But anyway. I'm really interested in advertising and commercials, and Americana and the way big corporations work...which I know is a really Unwoke answer, but I grew up glued to TVs in the 90s/early 2000s so it has a sad kind of nostalgia to me, and I think it's interesting the way commercials represent the super idealized visions of when they were made and reflect the values and "what people wanted" in specific decades, and...idk I Just Think They're Neat

40. What's the most interesting item you own?

I bought a disembodied chicken leg a few months ago, that's pretty interesting. I wanted to get a tiny squid in a jar but I would have had no money left...I also almost bought some dental x-rays but I had no way to display them. I also have a plushie roast chicken. In a somewhat chicken related thing, my friend @dare-g made a tiny model Poepoe for me as a gift, it's one of my treasured items now

I have a black and grey argyle sweater that I've owned for over a decade, it's got holes in it now but I'm holding onto it for as long as I can...I also have decade old socks that are a cool honeycomb pattern in red, blue, and grey...there's a plain grey zip-up hoodie I'm fond of, and more recently I got a Goodnight Punpun hoodie. This Catsu Curry is also funny and cute and very luxurious

I collect many things, but my top priority is DVDs/blu-rays. I also collect plushies and Funko Pops, which I will not apologize for. I used to collect clocks, but that quickly started taking up too much space...I only have 2 with me now currently
