So I was playing this yandere visual called Tidebound Constant by the same dev working on the upcoming yandere visual novel called Overdose. The creator being Mooki, huge shout-out to them! My first impression of the game is that it's pretty unique with its art style. It's not polished by any means like other visual novels but it still looks good. The character Kallan looks hot and I have no clue what kind of witchcraft the dev did to make him so hot.
That's not even all, the art style actually made him look terrifying. I'm not even kidding, I was so fucking startled seeing how intense Kallan's expressions got in the demo. I played Homicipher and I wasn't even scared of that despite the horror elements. Something about this art style showing how terrifying Kallan is startled me far more than any visual novel ever could.
Just look at this! How does one do this????
But yeah this is pretty good. Honestly I love elements of horror with the sea as someone with thalassophobia. Having a dangerous yandere being a creature of the sea is something I don't see often and I welcome that.
