14. Have any of your ocs been re-written? If so, what did their old version look like vs their new one?
Yes!! All of my ocs from my main story have been rewritten more times than I can count, but the main two - Nour and Jaylen - in particular have been redesigned to the point that they are unrecognizable! They have a long and very complicated history in which they were at one point in a story about super powered spies, but basically now they’ve split into two different sets of characters in two different stories im working on:
Jake and Nikki: a tiger shapeshifter tortured-in-a-lab-government-experiment and a wildly competent teen assassin try to bust up the lab operation that is harming other kids. (This story is written with 12-15 year old me in mind as an audience ONLY!! It’s to cherish my inner child who loved drama and unrealistic science)
And Nour and Jaylen: who are agents in a large intergovernmental agency that’s got its thumbs in a lot of pies. They start out as glorified animal control and their jobs slowly become more complex, leading them to question where their allegiances truly lie. (This story is geared towards me now. Who still loves drama but with adult characters and slightly more nuance lol)
