So I was always bothered by Tigerclaw's whole character arc. Like they could have set up this whole cool and intricate way for him to become this villain and for him to have had legitament motives by altering his name a bit. But instead they just had to make him a dick. Like imagine how fucking cool it would have been to introduce the -blaze suffix earlier on in the series? Also Tigerblaze is a rad af name and it could have been used to the Erin's advantage and played well into the whole "Fire alone can save our Clan" prophecy by causing Bluestar and Spottedleaf to genuinely believe they found the fire. And as his own belief that he was this prophecised cat destined to save the Clan, we could have watched him slowly become what the Clan needed saving from in a way that genuinely would have been more intriguing to read. I might make this into an AU thing, maybe write a short and dumb fic about this concept. But I honestly don't know if half the shit I wrote down will even make sense later on.
