1. What are your 5 favorite tv shows?
Spartacus (always and forever the one that holds my heart), Lost, The Walking Dead, SOA, and Sherlock
2. What is a book series that you love and that you think doesn’t get enough love?
Melissa de la Cruz' "Witches of East End" series - it's my guilty pleasure and not my usual style of book but I still really enjoy them for some reason
3. What is your favorite and least favorite character from A Song of Ice and Fire?
My favorite character will always be Eddard Stark because he reminds me of my Dad, who is all about honor and loyalty having been a US Marine. My least favorite character is a toss up between The Red Woman Melisandre, and Stannis Baratheon.
4. Do you enjoy listening to classical music?
Yes, Vivaldi and Boccherini are among my favorites.
5. What is your field of study? If undecided, what would you like to do?
Elementary education
6. Do you like Futbol? If so, how excited are you for the 2014 World Cup this summer?
Yes, my Dad and I root for Real Madrid, and in the World Cup root for the US and Spain so yep, we're excited!
7. Do you prefer Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sherlock or Robert Downey Jr.’s Sherlock?
Benedict's for sure because he's a brilliant actor, and plus the performances of the other actors around him give his Sherlock a unique quality I haven't seen in Robert's.
8. Do you prefer Mads Mikkelsen’s Hannibal or Anthony Hopkins’ Hannibal?
Mads Mikkelsen - his Hannibal is charming and captivating and sexy in a way Hopkins' isn't. You know what he is, and the ick factor is there because of it, but it's layered with all this class and sophistication and elegance in his interactions with others that is just missing when Hopkins is locked in a cell.
9. Where on Middle Earth would you live?
Probably Rohan
10. What time period in History would you like to go back to and learn about it first hand?
Any time period anywhere in the world? I'd have to say the time of the Spanish Conquistadores and the fall of the Aztec Empire. My history lies there. My father's family traces our roots back to Spain, and my mother's to Mexico so that collision of two worlds holds special significance for me.
11. What is something that you would like to tell me or what me to know about you?
Cooking is my passion - I love to make new dishes and cook meals for my family and friends. My brother is a professional chef with a culinary degree, and sometimes, we just like to get together and plan menus so that we can invite people over to try the dishes.
