My little furball is ten years old today! So many memories and greatest hits - dead birds brought into the house, dinners eaten too quickly and then hurled back up on the kitchen floor, a crippling addiction to Dreamies, biting me in the face, ruining my bedroom carpet with your insatiable urge to sharpen your claws when the scratching post is right there, yowling at 4am to be let outside, that time you somehow managed to climb on to the roof of the house and nearly gave me a heart attack, that other time when you chewed though two pairs of Apple earphones in the space of a month. And yet you've been my beloved companion through most of my twenties, been with me through triumph and tragedy, through me entering my thirties, through the world changing and feeling like it's going a bit insane, and honestly, life feels better and less scary when you jump into my lap, sit on my knees and demand to be pet. Happy birthday, baby girl! ❤️😻🥰
