Survey things!
This is a survey thing, below are my answers to the last set of questions :D Feel free to do mine :) (at the bottom)
1. If you could pick anyone living or dead — but not fictional! — who would you choose to be your mentor?
Not fictional! :( J.K. Rowling probably. Not only could she likely open any door, but we could discuss all the little details of the HP universe that I’m dying to know. She’s as close to being fictional as a real person can get. Otherwise, BFF Bryan (that’s Bryan Fuller, when he finally lets me down) because he is by and far proven himself to be one of the most geeky, awesome, and yet successful people that have crossed my radar.
I feel like the backdrop of tumblr is influencing my choices, buttt…I’m too tired/lazy to try and unweave fandom from my brain.
2. At what age did you consider yourself to actually be an adult, and if you don’t yet consider yourself one, when do you think think that might happen?
I guess it depends on the definition of adult, when will I stop occupying my mind with fictional characters? That’s probably never. I do, however, feel like I’ve grown /tremendously/ as a person over the last year but I’m fandoming more than ever. If being an adult means accepting yourself and that you can do what you want and not feel the need to change for anything, than I’m there.
In other definitions, I’m paying for my own things, working a full time job, going out and having a life, and generally just doing what makes me happy. I guess that’s fun!adult.
3. They say you can’t choose your family, but if you could create a family out of fictional characters with yourself in the middle, who would be in your family?
…that means I can’t sleep with them right? Unless I put Jaime in, *rim shot* - you know what, Jaime can be my brother, how’s that for classy? (Jaime Lannister) and Remus can be my dad…which I guess makes Sirius my other dad. Bond can be an older brother too, and Dean, Dean is a fantastic older brother…if I put in a fictional character does it mean the other people in their universes are in mine as well? In that case Molly Hooper can be my sister and Rose Tyler. Dumbledore can be my Grandpa, (shush, I’m designing this) and Tony Stark can be my rich uncle. (Again, fuck family lineages). Becky can be my cousin, really need to get Hannibal in this somehow, but who do I actually want to be related to in that? » I guess Will, Will can be that crazy uncle. Also, Uncle McCoy.
4. Aside from all the things that you physically need to survive a day: air, food, shelter, etc. etc., what’s one thing you as an individual cannot live without over the course of a day?
The internet. No thinking required, also blankets, laptop, for the internets, and my phone. That’s pretty much it, really. I guess I’d like people on the other end of those things, so people count too, friends and things of that sort ;D
5. Do you have any weird deal breakers when it comes to dating or being friends with someone?
I cannot stand loud chewing noises or repetitive noises. If I’m already your friend, I won’t dump you, but I might cringe/leave the room if you do those things. If I’m going to date you, it better not happen. X.x

6. Would you give up one finger and one toe if it meant you’d have access to free wi-fi wherever you went for the rest of your life?
Nope. There’s free wifi pretty much everywhere I go anyway and data to make up the rest, I need my fingers and toes.
7. If a gajillionaire came up to you and said you could give one person a present and it could be anything at all because they’re a gajillionaire and they’re going to pay for it, what would you give and who would you give it to?
I guess I would give my mom half a gajillion dollars. She deserves it for being so amazing and it could truefax solve a good deal of the drama in my family.
8. What is the weirdest thing that you believed when you were a child?
I thought there was a giant hole that swept around the country sucking everything into it like a vortex and that one day it would come for my hometown too.
Most everything else I still believe ;)
9. What are the top three traits, skills or qualities that draw you to someone new?
1. They can fandom well and they fandom my fandoms, it’s true! It’s like saying speaking the same language is important, and it is.
2. They’re a little twisted. I’m a little twisted and frankly, these days my patience for hiding that among friends is getting thinner and thinner. So if they share my twists, I know we can do well together.
3. They make me laugh. Laughing together is the best.
10. Would you rather burp marbles or fart confetti?
Would these things involve the physical pain that comes with them? IF so, I think confetti is less likely to hurt. 11. They’re making a cheesy sitcom of your life. What’s your catch phrase?
I love them sooooo much. Or BBSSSSSSS. Or That’s slashable.
