In late July I will be heading to ALASKA to work at a remote fly fishing lodge for two months. Ill post more detail on how the opportunity unexpectedly came about. In short- it was a lead from a captain I met while living and working with a dear friend Elizabeth down in PV, MX. Over the past couple years life has presented many trials and triumphs; opportunities like this let me know to keep going.
Location: Tikchik Lodge, Tikchik State Park, AK.
"This area is only accessible by float plane and is over 300 miles from the nearest connecting road system. Unlike most other Alaskan Lodges, Tikchik Narrows is totally isolated. We are not located in a town or village. Our neighbors are the undisturbed fish and wildlife which abound in this area."
