Nature is truly a place of relaxation as much as it is if reverence, and replenishing. There is magic everywhere- we just have to be willing to see it. My activism always pays off when I seek the magical moments of growth through struggle towards empowerment of the vulnerable women I advocate for. My spiritual beliefs, a small but strong support system of family and friends who believe in the work I do get me through the tough times. the tough days make it harder to see the magic and love and rainbows - on those days a close colleague of mine gets a phone call with me bawling at the other end. I recently needed a break and took time to go where love lives and shines (CG and Mar are powerful, beautiful, amazing sisters of my soul) they truly showed me love and kindness that lifted me from the grips of a burn out. Another dear friend of mine also helped love me back to myself in Sarteneja - I miss their love and presence daily - and count them as Goddess sent blessings. You see, Activists are these radical individuals who fight for a cause they believe in - but they draw their strength from those who love and support them. With that love and support an individual can keep fighting for the vulnerable in their community.
