I made a bunch of tiling wallpapers! This particular set is some ghost pokemon with a purple background. Feel free to snag and use for the spooky season! If you like what you see and want to check out more of my stuff, please take a look at my carrd!! Images below cut:
Made myself a tile wallpaper of 2 kinds of my favorite arachnid, the Whip Scorpion!! The Tailed and Tailless variety :) Free to use if you want it!!
ID/ A drawing of a blue whip scorpion and a red tailless whip scorpion against an orange background that's littered with yellow dots and red jigsaw lines. The two bugs are drawn in a simple style and are outlined with a pale yellow. The blue whip scorpion sits in the center facing upwards while quarters of the tailless whip scorpion sit at the corners of the drawing, facing downwards. /END ID
ID/ A screenshot of a windows desktop showing the tiled wallpaper described before being properly used. The two whip scorpions are repeated across the screen in an alternating pattern, with the red jigsaw lines sitting between each whip scorpion. /END ID
i love these two buggies so much <3 i want to hold them!!!!!
So I learned how to make image that tile/repeat seamlessly?? After I was so intimidated by it for years? And it's not nearly as hard as I though, just kinda fiddly.
But yeah, needed a new wallpaper for my tablet, obvs I had to make it DnD themed! First image is the original, second is the repeating vers.
If you like my art, please reblog! It means a lot.

Incorporating Texture Wallpaper into Minimalist Decor
Minimalist decor is known for its clean lines, simple forms, and restrained colour palettes. However, this style can sometimes feel stark or impersonal. One effective way to add depth and interest to a minimalist space is by incorporating texture wallpaper. This article explores how to use different types of texture wallpaper, including brick, metal, marble, concrete, and tile wallpapers, to create a warm and inviting minimalist interior.
The Appeal of Texture Wallpaper
Texture wallpaper brings a tactile quality to walls that can't be achieved. It adds dimension and character without overwhelming the simplicity of minimalist design. Whether you're aiming for a subtle backdrop or a bold statement, texture wallpaper can be the perfect solution.
Brick Wallpaper: Adding Rustic Charm
Brick wallpaper is an excellent choice for introducing a rustic element into a minimalist space. The rough texture and earthy tones of red brick wallpaper can create a warm, inviting atmosphere. It works well in living rooms, kitchens, and bedrooms, offering a cosy, lived-in feel.
To balance the rugged look of brick wallpaper with minimalist decor, pair it with simple, modern furniture and neutral accessories. This combination highlights the texture of the brick while maintaining the overall simplicity of the design.
Metal Wallpaper: Industrial Edge
For those who prefer an edgier look, metal wallpaper can add an industrial touch to minimalist interiors. Metal wallpapers come in various finishes, such as brushed steel, copper, and aluminium, each offering a unique texture and sheen. This type of wallpaper is ideal for creating focal points in spaces like home offices, entryways, or dining rooms.
To keep the look cohesive, pair metal wallpaper with minimalist furniture in monochromatic shades. The sleek lines and reflective surfaces of the metal wallpaper will contrast beautifully with the understated decor, creating a balanced and modern aesthetic.
Marble Wallpaper: Timeless Elegance
Marble wallpaper brings a sense of timeless elegance to any minimalist space. The intricate veining and smooth surface of marble wallpaper can make a sophisticated statement without overpowering the room. Marble wall design is particularly effective in bathrooms, where it can mimic the look of real marble at a fraction of the cost.
Incorporate marble wallpaper in areas where you want to add a touch of luxury. Pair it with simple white or black fixtures and minimalist accessories to let the wallpaper shine. The result is a refined and serene space that exudes understated sophistication.
Concrete Wallpaper: Urban Sophistication
Concrete wallpaper offers an urban, sophisticated look that fits well with minimalist decor. The subtle variations in texture and colour of cement-look wallpaper can add depth and interest to walls without being too bold. This type of wallpaper is perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, and even home offices.
To enhance the minimalist aesthetic, pair concrete wallpaper with furniture and decor made of natural materials like wood and leather. The combination of concrete's cool tones and the warmth of natural materials creates a harmonious and balanced look.
Tile Wallpaper: Classic and Versatile
Tile wallpaper is a versatile option that can add a classic touch to minimalist interiors. Available in various patterns and colours, tile wallpaper can mimic the look of ceramic, porcelain, or mosaic tiles. It is particularly effective in kitchens and bathrooms, where it can add a decorative element without the need for actual tiles.
Choose a tile wallpaper with a subtle pattern and neutral colours to maintain the minimalist feel. Pair it with sleek fixtures and minimalist cabinetry to create a clean and cohesive look.
Surface Wallpaper: Subtle Texture
Surface wallpaper, with its subtle textures and patterns, can add a layer of interest to minimalist spaces without being overwhelming. Whether it's a delicate linen texture or a gentle wave pattern, surface wallpaper can enhance the tactile quality of a room.
Use surface wallpaper in bedrooms and living rooms to create a cosy and inviting atmosphere. Pair it with soft textiles and simple furnishings to achieve a balanced and harmonious look.
Tips for Using Texture Wallpaper in Minimalist Decor
Keep It Simple: Choose one type of texture wallpaper for each room to avoid visual clutter.
Balance with Minimalist Elements: Pair textured walls with minimalist furniture and accessories to maintain a clean and cohesive look.
Neutral Colour Palette: Stick to neutral colours to enhance the minimalist aesthetic and allow the texture to be the focal point.
Accent Walls: Use texture wallpaper on accent walls to create a focal point without overwhelming the space.
Consistency: Ensure consistency in texture and colour throughout the space to maintain a unified look.
Incorporating texture wallpaper into minimalist decor can elevate the overall design, adding depth and interest without compromising the simplicity that defines this style. Whether you choose brick, metal, marble, concrete, or tile wallpaper, these textures can enhance your minimalist interior, making it both stylish and inviting.
