Now that it seems that Rammstein are in the green, legally speaking, I really hope they make all the necessary announcements and then leave it alone.
I've read they intend to take further legal action against certain publications for their biased reporting which, yeah, that's absolutely fair. The reporting on this case has been abysmal - lacking in accuracy and the necessary neutral voice for these sorts of cases. I do not mind a battle, or three, between Rammstein and the tabloids.
What I really hope is that they don't come after any of the people who came forward. And, yes, that includes Shelby.
Think what you will about these individuals, but I do not believe legal action will achieve anything. It will not correct the damage done, nor will it make Rammstein any friends. I do not believe any of those who came out did so with malice. They may have achieved it, but their intentions and their personal feelings remain true. As such, continuing to engage with them is just beating a dead horse and opens them up to far more abuse than the system could ever deal out.
Rammstein will be fine. They've been damaged (that's for sure) but they've handled this situation well and have show they've earnt the trust of their fans. They will survive and, hell, are likely to thrive, but for now let them rest.
