Fanfic
Hey everyone!
Not many of you really know me as I’ve not only recently joined tumblr but I also posted a couple fanfics on here. There is something I have learned over the years as a fanfic-writer. There will be people who don’t approve of how the story is going or will think there is some many changes that needs to be done to it. Don’t let those who dislike how you write or the ratings you write, discourage or cause you to stop writing altogether. I have had people tell me they don’t like my work or that they think my work should have something more to it. The thing I tell them is basically “If you don’t like how I write, then write your own and let me see if you have done any better than I have”. A lot of times, the person will back off or they’ll make a story that is exactly the same as yours without permission from you. There are people who take another’s work and don’t give any appreciation to the original writer.
There are a few stories I have worked or are working on that have been inspired by other people
Reunited was inspired by @tilltheendwilliwrite
Code Geass: The Demon and His Angel were inspired by multiple writers such as AlSmash, KallenviBritannia, etc
My Code Geass: Tainted Kings was from another person known as Keimichi and I took over for them.
In the end, we all are inspired by one another with what we write.
Don’t be ashamed of how you write. Just know that as you grow as a writer, it will not only show in your work but it will show within who you are
