Argylwood has been captured by the NMC before and is one of the reasons he doesn’t go near the swamp or touch TA at all. He was freed as well as a bunch of others before they could be hurt too bad by Phiniadel, a Guardian who has devoted her life to slaying her own kind if only to keep the Nightmare from reaching the Dream. She’s good friends with the anxious thief and often acts more like an older sister figure for him in his times of need when he can’t find Clove. While Argyl is about 20 years old, Phiniadel is a secondborn and has her own rehabilitation center in the grove for salads who have been captured and tortured by the NMC--especially sylvari who return from Twilight Arbor.
Manyeullan also knows Phiniadel, though for very different reasons. The two have fought on more than one occasion and Many has tried to flirt with her just about as much. He’s given her one or two scars but she’s definately given him one that not only infuriates him but also suceeds in make him a bit hessitant to fight her anymore. Many is 7 years old. A wee bab compare to her, but no less weak. Many has also met Argyl. Unfortunately Many was not as fortunate as Argyl to be saved in time. Many also knows Vyridnith--a little too well, if you ask me.
Tillula knows Argyl, though she doesn’t give him much mind despite having been Crafty’s “Mentor”. She can hardly deal with one thief let alone two. She does however know Sippsi. They attended the same college, though Sippsi was very well known for being the bottom of their class--though she’s very helpful when it comes to Sylvari and non-tech stuff such as biology and her knowledge of fauna and flora.
Gaelrich, though he doesn’t care to remember, has had a nasty run in with Many and though both made it out without scars, Gaelrich definitely left a mark on the ele’s memory because you can’t exactly burn everything to the ground and go unnoticed by the NMC. Gael is only about 3 months old as of right now.
Tylliand and Phiniadel know each other very well. While Tylliand is only about 2 years old, she easily understands the guardian and her boisterous way of speaking fits Tylli’s bubbly personality rather well. Phini is like a mother figure to her and inspired her to not only join the Vigil, but go to the Silverwastes and use her skills to try and defeat Mordremoth.
Pythe has met Tillula but does not understand (or it goes right over her head, rather) why the Asura thinks she’s a dimmwitted dolt who couldn’t tell a VAL-A from a MARK II GOLEM. She really wants to understand the Asura but Tillula refuses to talk to her for the most part. The only time they are even in range of each other is if llula happens to be visiting Vino and Brechten and Pythe stumbles her way over.
Vino and Tillula waiting for the Mega Destroyer.
You know, since they're hired help. Gotta get that paper.
What do you mean I need to stop coming up with actual personalities for GW toons? Nonsense. It's time for some actual small details like speech and mannerisms hoo hoo
Argylwood
Probably has a habit of looking around frantically thanks to his mask. He likes high vantage points so he can see everything. He doesn't have trouble standing still but he does like to rock back and forth while waiting for friends or something big like champs and stuff. He's also pretty subtle when it comes to hand gestures which makes it kind of hard to know what mood he's in. Just assume he's always anxious. He talks quietly--something that came with the profession, I think, and if your close enough it's easy to understand him. He has a habit of blurting out thoughts he regrets almost instantly.
Tillula
Laughs more than she talks and when she does talk she comes off more like a bully than anything friendly at all. She's very expressive with her hands, but less so with her face because she always seems to have some sort of sarcastic look. She's into dry humor and has a problem staying still--or keeping her staff put away. She likes walking around with it, poking people with it, and general getting everyone's attention since she's so short with the damn thing. She has a terrible attention span and often zones out while trying to decide how to start a fight. She also uses jumping to try and get someones attention if the staff doesnt work.
Tylliand
VERY expressive with her hands and her face. She wears her heart out on her sleeve and you can tell when she's upset 100% of the time. She has a hard time keeping quiet and goes right on ahead rambling and raving about her adventures and what she's going to pass on to the Pale Tree when she gets back to the grove. Has the worst time staying still and often hums or taps her feet a lot--if she isnt immediately distracted by something else, of course. In all accounts I'm surprised no one finds her intolerable.
Manyeullan
Soft spoken and moderately expressive with his hands. It's hard to get him excited about most things and even harder to make him upset about even more. He's a calm salad through and through and often finds that being a 'neutral' party is easier than trying to take a side. That said he has a large passion for his friends (as he has few). It's normally hard to read him, but he's not one to bottle up his emotions. He'll let you know when he's pleased or terribly unhappy with something. He's a bit of a know-it-all so his tone usually reflects that.
Only gonna do my highest three cause ive played them the most huhu
Argylwood
"Be a thief they said. It'll be fun, they said."
For someone who was born from the Pale Tree talking, Argyl has a hard time voicing his own concerns. So, with great hesitance he does as he's told because he feels as though life is a river and if it flows one way, you flow that way, too. Despite having joined the Order of Whispers he runs around with little to no accord for the Order at all if it means he can run into a dungeon and fool around. If there's no dungeons to be had he quickly finds his honor and does what the Order asks of him.
Humble, and an idiot, he's made due with using a shortbow for most of his combat. He's fond of fighting in groups instead of by himself where getting hurt is immanent--but is quick to care for his allies whoever they may be. Despite knowing all the ins and outs of his profession he's rather trash at actually acting on his knowledge and prefers to run straight in and get pummeled than running away. Argyl loves to sight see and loves adventuring around and teaching others when he can. He has a soft spot for Asuras (Because he enjoys their blunt humor) and hates spiders for every reason in the book. He loves dungeons above all else.
Tylliand
"I thought it was safe!"
A curious Ranger who likes spiders far too much for her own good. Tylliand loves every living thing on this planet and makes it known. She's been bright since she emerged from the Pale Tree and finds confidence where many have lost it. Despite being bright and friendly she his quick to use force if her charm doesnt work. She enjoys proving others wrong about herself and loves laughing the most. She doesn't know how to feel about any of the Orders but has a great need to become a brave warrior--one others can find hope in if they can find hope nowhere else.
Tillula
"I can't believe everyone is dead."
An Asura with an active imagination and a fascination in Necromancy. Often finding herself in more trouble than she bargained for, Despite having joined the College of Statistics she finds that her time is less wasted when it comes to necromancy. She's grown out of her once big plans of being the smartest Asura around in her College and moved on to bigger--albeit creepier--things. Her obsession with Necromancy is not due to her curiosity or a need to understand it. She simply finds it much more enjoyable to raise a minion and run around fighting everyone and anyone who makes fun of her than standing around, wondering how the Eternal Alchemy works. Tillula stands on middle ground when it comes to being part of the Inquest or not. (but keeps that more to herself than anything)
Tillula is headstrong and has a habit of thinking she's bigger, badder, and stronger than she actually is. Though she can be bossy and a bit off-putting at first and quick to call people names but ends up opening up to new friends. She loves adventuring and goofing off but isn't very good at making others laugh in a large group. She has goals that include running through every dungeon and seeing every part of the world there is to offer--all while keeping a good eye on her money. If there's anything she's best at, it's keeping her finances at a minimum and selling anything she can get her grubby little hands on.
