The 100 bird species challenge has been going nicely, even though I haven’t been posting recently. Here is a chiffchaff, which I identified by its song, a female siskin (photographed in April), and a male widgeon or Eurasian wigeon (note the subtle difference in spelling which I only just realised). The last picture is of an Eurasian jay which was #19 in my list but I failed to post a picture of it for some reason and only realised it now, so here it is.
