The Ghost Writer actor Tim Faraday joins House of the Dragon as Amos Bracken

Amos Bracken, one of the most beloved lords of House Bracken from Fire & Blood, will be making his appearance in Season 2.

Just when we think we know who will be portraying all the characters, another revelation floats to the surface.

Actor Tim Faraday has the part of Amos Bracken in HotD Season 2.

Amos Bracken is almost certainly related to Jerrel Bracken who was killed by Willem Blackwood at Storm's End in S01E04. But the nature of the relationship isn't clear. Neither Willem nor Jerrel are mentioned in Fire and Blood.

While some people cite Fire and Blood as canon, the book actually includes several perspectives from different observers. House of the Dragon may have a better claim to being canon for this part of Targaryen history.

One of the best things about House of the Dragon is that it gives some of the lesser-known characters their time to shine. For eg. Wil Johnson’s Vaemond Velaryon.
