Bottomless Pit - “fleece”
this is perfect

Tim Midyett (née Midgett).
Ink, paper. 2013.
Since I did Steve V. of the band BLACKS yesterday, I have decided to make this week's drawings all of folks I know, or have met (and are involved in Rock Music, etc.).
This is Tim. He was in the great band Silkworm, and is in the great band Bottomless Pit. He recently changed his surname from Midgett to Midyett. Also, he invented the greatest meat rub ever.
day thirteen: silkworm: they were on the way to chicago to record (my favorite record by them) 'firewater'... really great show... really small attendance. unfortunately joel RL phelps had left the band at this point...
Bottomless Pit - 38 Souls
Took me way too long to get around to these guys. For the unacquainted, Silkworm (and if you're not acquainted with Silkworm...we'll talk later) came to a tragic end in 2005. I won't get into that, it still enrages me. But Bottomless Pit served as the silver lining, again pairing Tim Midgett and Andy Cohen of Silkworm, along with Seam's Chris Manfrin and .22 frontman Brian Orchard on bass.
If you're familiar with Midgett and Cohen, you'll notice Bottomless Pit still carries the sound they defined in Silkworm. But overall, the sound is more somber and mature, which shouldn't be that surprising. While I'm not going to get into splitting hairs about which band is better (I've had this debate with a few people), I will concede that Bottomless Pit is more accessible to a first time listener, while Silkworm is the classic grower. And this is just one of the best damn album closing tracks you're ever going to hear. - MO
