Bottomless Pit - The Cardinal Movements
I guess this almost qualifies as an oldie-but-goodie by now.

Proxy: A Slender Man Story (2012) Directed by Michael Dahlquist

day thirteen: silkworm: they were on the way to chicago to record (my favorite record by them) 'firewater'... really great show... really small attendance. unfortunately joel RL phelps had left the band at this point...
Silkworm - "The Ram"
Anyone who knows me well knows that Silkworm is, for all intents and purposes, my favorite band of all time. They have been since 1995, when I was living in a shitty house in the U-District and spending whatever meager wages I earned from moving office furniture on Top Ramen and CDs from Cellophane Square. I brought their In the West CD home, listened to it, and didn't understand at all. Then I listened to it some more, and never looked back.
Earlier tonight, I got to spend some time with Paul Dahlqust, who is a riot, an amazing photographer, and the father of Michael Dahlquist from Silkworm, who is sadly no longer with us. Here's to fathers and sons who do great things.
