there is a restraunt in New Mexico named Tims Place. You can order breakfast, lunch, and hugs! The owner, Tim Harris, has Down syndrome and has given out over 40,000 hugs
I'm excited.
The pro-life campus outreach team I'm on is leaving tomorrow for a 5-week cross-country trip.
We'll be stopping in Albuquerque, and i've been told we might

get to stop at Tim's Place for a meal while we're in town.
In case you haven't heard, Tim's Place is a restaurant started and owned by Tim, a man with Down Syndrome who offers good food and free hugs to everyone who comes through the door. He believes that "food is just food" and the hugs are what's important.
I'm so excited.
Tim's Place Albuquerque: Service With A Smile | You've Got I know a number of people in our community who share some of Tim's circumstances, and I am grateful to them. They have helped me to understand first-hand that sincere encouragement makes a difference, and we all have that to give. And people will give it, once they find out how important it is. (You will LOVE his family in this video.) I have seen people who don't get it have epiphanies when they really see that encouragement is a two-way street. Our thanks and congratulations to Tim for knowing that hugs are a valuable commodity to many of us. :-) Whether we're aware of it or not, it is a truth for all of us: We are either part of the building committee or the wrecking crew. It is a choice we face every day and it WILL be made, consciously or unconsciously. There are those who don't know or understand how it is a choice, but no matter what the reason, to not make a choice is also to choose. The beauty and wonder and power of the human spirit fueled by love - nothing is so strong or as important. If you ever doubt that, please refer back to this video of Tim. Even in following one's heart, God helps most those who help themselves. Love & hugs to all.

This guy is an inspiration...Every time I see this video I can't help to smile :D I wish there was a restaurant like this in London...I could do with a hug right now. Hugs are important to keep us happy. When was the last time you hugged someone?
There have been so many times I have wanted to quit in life or give up on my dreams. This video is a great reminder that nothing should hold me or anyone else back from achieving what they want.
