I have conflicted feelings about physical contact. Sometimes I want it, and in general I like the idea of being hugged or held by someone I trust. But the idea of any unsolicited physical contact - even contact generally considered socially acceptable - puts me on edge. Creeps in online roleplays even gave me an aversion to virtual physical contact.

I think a lot of it comes down to learning to associate physical touch with emotional manipulation, like certain forms of touch can make me change my emotions to whatever the other person wants. And now that I think about it, I kinda... wish there was more acknowledgement of physical touch as a potential tool of emotional manipulation.
