So I was researching this cute raccoon figure I thrifted and what did I discover, but that the 1975 Kenner Tree Tot Treehouse (which was also modified to be an Ewok village playset) is alive and kicking! They've been rebranded as Fat Brain Toys' Timber Tots and now they have animal figures instead of human figures, which imo is cuter and better.
I used to have the 1975 version (not when I was a kid, I found it at Value Village and thought it would make a great pony backdrop). I used it in a photo comic once. Anyway, I'm glad to see this playset is still around, it's very cool.
