I'm still absolutely REELING from this post here by @uesp that, if we go by the Day and Night system in ESO, technically about 40 years have gone by. Whereas only 10 years by in real life.
If ESO was updating the date with the in-game days that have passed, we would be in 2E 622 (having started at 2E 582).
Like. If that's the canon system, so many of our characters and toons would either be very, very elderly or deceased. Or if they did the whole Daedric Prince thing they'd be immortal and watching their friends pass away before them.
Some of those Canon couples would be getting married and having kids (emphasis on some, mind you.). Hell some of those kids could be having grandkids. And the Vestige is still spry and young and watching it all happen.
And honestly, so, so much more.
I think I need to sit down.
