Do you think Sol, especially an experienced version of them, vents about their timeloop/alternate timeline bullcrap to Kom the night before his death?
Besides Sym, and sometimes Dys, Sol doesn't have anyone to talk to, ever. At most, they can be cryptic, or hide things under a tonne of metaphors, but they can't ever say "yeah no, I'm stressed because I've watched everyone die more times than there are stars in the sky" and not get institutionalized for it.
Just, imagine Sol on the walls with Kom, watching the wormhole, actually venting about the stresses of that particular loop, an aching hole in their chest because they are using Kom's destined death to their advantage. They will never be able to forgive themself, but they can't keep it in any longer.
Who knows, maybe a particularly jaded version of them would do a similar thing earlier in the timeline, talking with Tammy or Tonin and then just, not saving them.
