[11:06 am] After spending the whole night screaming, crying, and arguing with each other, Wonho held his head in his hands. “Why... why are you doing... this...” Wonho asked, completely exhausted. “Hoseok, please... I just want to go home to my family. I’ll come back home, I swear!” your voice strained from repeating the same sentence over and over again. 

You loved him, you did. Even if his requests were odd and somewhat alarming, you still loved him because Wonho was the only one you’ve ever felt truly loved by. Telling you to break ties with your parents, however, was too much. “Just give me one day or a couple of hours-”

“They never come back... Everyone abandons me. In the end, it’s only me.”

“Hoseok...”

“[Y/N], if you step out of this apartment, I... I’ll die!” You looked directly into his eyes. You couldn’t believe what you were hearing. 

“I’ll starve, I won’t sleep, I won’t leave this apartment!” His tears accumulated and a tear dripped onto his cheek. “It’s you that keeps me alive!”

[10:17 pm] “Wait, are you leaving?” I.M shot up from his desk in panic. “Yeah, of course. It’s getting really late Changkyun, let’s pick this up tomorrow, okay?” 

I.M had developed a very serious crush on a fellow classmate, but due to his introverted personality, he very rarely was able to meet them, let alone ask for a date. Playing dumb was the only way to get any interaction from his newfound love interest. Five hours was spent in the library together, but of course it wasn’t enough. 

“Um, oh... is it really that late already? Let me drop y-” Y/N interrupted him mid-sentence. “That’s so sweet of you, but I’ll just take the shuttle to the dormitory instead. See you next week, okay?” He couldn’t wait that long, even one hour was too much to bear. 

After Y/N arrived in the entrance of the dormitory, a mixture of confusion and concern forced them to stand still.

“Changkyun, what are you doing you here? I thought you said you lived off campus.”

“I do.”

“Then, um...”

“I wanted to make sure you were safe, so I followed your shuttle here.”

“What...”

“What? Isn’t that sweet of me? Just like a boyfriend, right?” 

A spine-chilling smile crept onto his face.

[5:16 pm] “Where have you been all day?” Kihyun asked in a warm tone, yet his icy eyes held a different feeling. “I was worried sick.” He turned around, looking out the window. “Look how dark it is outside. Anything could have happened! People... they can’t be trusted.” The room felt colder, as if something was terribly off about your beloved. You wanted to defend yourself, to tell Kihyun to stop treating you like a child, but the thick air left you silent. 

He sighed and looked back at you. “If you need to do a task or go shopping, just tell me next time and we’ll only go together, okay? I can certainly make time for my dearest.” Kihyun smiled while looking straight into your eyes, but somehow it felt condescending. “Kihyun, I-” As you began your sentence, he gripped your shoulders tightly, bruising you. His smile now faded away. Something unequivocally was wrong with this relationship. 

“You will listen to me, won’t you love?”

[2:03 am] “How beautiful.” he whispered to himself, occasionally stealing glances at the person who sat on the other corner of the bar. The saloon was sophisticated and often empty towards the night. The quiet jazz set a nice mood, and the slightly drunken Hyungwon confidently approached the person who sat alone, looking tired and a little dejected. “Alone?” he asked, startling the person. A full view of their face showed their puffy eyes and running nose. The look on their face made Hyungwon’s heart clenched. Everything after that happened all to fast. A drink was offered, there was a lot of comforting, then hugs, then kisses, then... it was all a haze. The next morning, he tightly held his new found beloved. “Tell me who left you like that darling, you never gave me the full details.” His eyes closed and brows furrowed. I’ll kill them, baby.

[6:34 pm] “Finished!” Jooheon exclaimed, setting another item down on his wooden shelf. For the past year, Jooheon has been collecting various different pieces pertaining to his crush, sometimes without consent. A pen, a tissue, a lost lip balm, a thrown water bottle, the collection grew day by day. Somehow, it was never enough. A hair brush, a stuffed animal, a shirt, a CD… a diary. It’s fine, right? I can always give it back when we become lovers.

[5:38 pm] A white envelope sealed with a small heart sat abandoned on Shownu’s nightstand. Sitting on his bed, he stared at the blank envelope for a while, scrunching his nose. A letter with words of undying affection and love, signed anonymous, has yet to see the light of day. I’m scared, he thought. If my heart is disposed of, what will I do? The taciturn man had never been in such a difficult situation before. 

It only happened last week. In a quiet coffee shop near work, there was a person that was almost heart-crushingly beautiful, working tirelessly to serve coffee. The small smile they wore excited Shownu’s heart. 

“This is not normal, what’s wrong with me?” Shownu said, now looking away from the envelope and at the notes on his phone. Details of that person’s apartment and schedule were neatly arranged in a word document. This is definitely not normal. He sighed, running his fingers through his hair. If I’m rejected, I might go insane.

[2:27 pm] It was as if he received a blessing from above. As Minhyuk quietly sat on the bench near the library, a person that shines brighter and more brilliantly than the sun itself made their way towards him. “Sorry to be a bother, but do you happen to know where the closest bus stop is?” they asked, smiling a small smile. Oh no. Don’t smile. You’ll kill me. What is this feeling? That smile, does it mean something? In a split seconds, Minhyuk’s thoughts become more scattered. I need you to be mine. “Excuses me?” the person asked, confused by the man’s silence. “Oh, sorry.” Minhyuk snapped back into existence, straightening his posture.
