Bunny stood off to the side of the ballroom floor, casting uneasy glances at the crowd before fiddling with the hem of her dress. She was starting to find herself becoming nervous, namely because she was still not used to large crowds or gatherings. That and she didn’t like it when too much attention was on her which tended to only make her nerves worse.

Then there was the fact that she was waiting for her boyfriend to appear, and no doubt he would look absolutely stunning. She was anxious to see him, but also worried that she wouldn’t be able to compliment or match him at such a fancy gathering, which also added to her nerves.

In short: She was a ball of nerves and just barely managing to hide it.

“I still don’t see why Duchess would call me ‘Snow Bunny’.” Much to her annoyance the nickname caught on among the rest of the Wonderlanders. Even Alistair kept using it, which only frustrated her.

“Hey, there,” she said, smiling as she approached the other. They looked a bit lost and out of place, which was what prompted Bunny to go over to them. Normally a Welcoming Committee member would be by the side of a new student to help them, which made the lack of one nearby the new student all the more curious. Were they a new student, or weren’t they? Either way Bunny had not seen them around before.

 “Are you new to this school, by any chance?”

Bunny was hurrying through the halls, finding herself oddly late for Geografairy due to having slept in accidentally. While she was not one for the subject, Bunny didn’t want to end up being late, either. It seemed her luck with getting to places right on time was beginning to fade, which was a mixed blessing. On the one hand it meant that she was falling more in line with her destiny, but on the other it was leading her to being late for class.

Being late for any class was not looked upon favorably at Ever After High.

As she turned the corner, Bunny found herself colliding with something, causing her to stumble and fall backwards.

“S-sorry!” She said, scrambling to her feet and trying to brush herself off before looking to what, or who she ran into.

“You know...with all of the unusual things that take place in this city, if we just changed the colour scheme this place could be another Wonderland.” Granted it would be more technical looking but it should still work.

“I don’t think the scientists would run with such an idea, though.”

Bunny looked over her outfit in the mirror, taking a deep breath as she did so. It looked flawless to her, as well as fairy hexquisite, so there was nothing to really worry about.  Yet the longer she stared at her reflection, the more doubtful she became.

Would Byakuya like it? Would it compliment him well, or would it end up being a complete fairy fail?

She bit her lip at the thought of being unable to live up to Byakuya’s hexpectations. If she didn’t would he still want to be with her? Would he end up finding someone of a more higher class to be with?

Squeezing her eyes tight, Bunny gently shook her head. She shouldn’t be thinking that lowly of him, or herself for that matter. HE had said that she exceeded his expectations and that she was the one he wanted, and she just needed to believe that.

She was good enough. She was more than good enough.

She could do this.

Taking yet another deep breath, Bunny opened her eyes to stare defiantly at her reflection. “I can do this.”
