Timeghost just launched the first episode of their 'Rise of Hitler' series, in which they'll be going through the political climate and events of the Weimar republic month by month beginning in january 1930.

Their format is chronological history, which has been amazing to watch during their WW1, WW2, and recently started Korean war series (all week by week). I've found this format really enlightening, giving you all kinds of insights by experiencing the topic or period somewhat 'in real time' that you simply don't get with a traditional documentary focused on one subject, person or battle. The sense of the chronological progression of times does so much to change how you perceive events or what importance they have in the greater whole. 10/10 would recommend watching, I'm currently part of the way through this first episode and they're using heaps and heaps of primary sources - their research assistant sat for months in archives (in Vienna iirc) trawling through 1930s party newspapers.
