That seems annoying as hell!? That just sucks. Also I feel like..as a dm, if you give your player a cursed sword, you should have a plan for how to bring that up in game and force some interaction with it? Like. Having the swords origins come up in a quest or something. That just seems like good dming :/

it was!!!! and in fairness, it was a random loot roll in a pre-written campaign but also... yeah there was so much time to try and work it in organically/over time. there are some things this person does well as a dm, but also many things he Does Not.

Finally drew in the sketchbook @timeinthetardis got me, like, two years ago for my birthday. I kept waiting to feel like I had gotten good enough at art to deserve it. But I realized recently that you don't have to earn art. And you certainly don't have to create it for anybody but yourself. Today was a successful day at Colossalcon! I did Ladybug and everything turned out really nicely. I was covered spray paint and worked on it the night before, but it got done and looked great!

We saw Hamilton today and it was an experience like no other. Sitting in the second row I was close enough to see the tears rolling Leslie Odom Jr.'s face. @timeinthetardis and I ended up being able to sit next to each other during the Act 2 and Lin-Manuel and I had an exchange during the rap battle. Needless to say the whole experience was amazing and was so much more then I could have ever dreamed of. Thank you to Taylor for being crazy enough to say yes when I asked out of the blue in November if you wanted to go see Hamilton. I'm so happy I got to share this experience with you. 😊
