Before anyone freaks out cause Thenzyn isn't wearing armor....iiiii....was lazy and I'm not sorry xD I really wanted to draw him again and I like how his statue and face is so different from the sweet sylvari I usually draw. Being a Timekeeper isn't an easy job and the marks of the fights are proof for Thenzyn that he survived and eventually won.

I dont know why I really enjoy Thenzyn. He is hard to draw cause let's be real I draw mostly sweeter characters with more feminine features. For Thenzyn I wanted to go away from that a bit. Also yes he does have a nose but you can say it's more a little...bump. xD I'm fact Thenzyn doesn't need to breath nor does he need food to live. As a Timekeeper he is basically immortal bound to ,,his" timeline. And as long this timeline exists he will live too. Neitherless there are ways to kill him tho but that's not in the power mortals possess. But to explain. I'm not exactly sure WHEN and WHERE I readed invame about the topic that multiple versions of Tyria exist but that gave me the idea for it. What if there are multiple timelines, following their own path and what if there is someone that keeps an eye on that? Making sure the flow of time follows the right order? Of course its not Thenzyn. He is just one of many who work as a ,,guardian". His job is to get rid of potential threats that could disturb the happenings in his timelines. Someone came back to.life but is supposed to stay dead? Timetraveller? Or even people from another world? It is his duty to eliminate them. It is not a very honorable duty tho but he doesn't really have a choice cause every timekeeper shares one fate: they never existed. Lost souls that didn't find the way into life for whatever reasons. Souls no one will miss cause no one knew them. They all follow the orders of a superior being that watches all the timelines. Of course you can ask me anytime if you have questions :3

I'm still alive!!!! I already drawed big grumpy man Thenzyn a while ago in exactly the same pose yet I hadn't finished it. So I decided I redraw it. I have much love for that tree. Being a Timekeeper might sound awesome but it's actually a very lonely life ( have in mind I go after my own headcanon about timekeeper since gw2 doesn't give us much lore to that xD)

Today I untroduce you once again to Thenzyn. He is 25 Years old yet he doesn't belong to the firstborn, he would have been born in a later Generation. Would have? Yes. Thenzyn died in his pot before he could emerge. Yet being a lost soul the Keeper of Time noticed him and offered him to become a Timekeeper and protect the Timeline of the current Tyria. Despite having a noble cause Thenzyn is nothing else than a killer. Erasing all potential threats to time. Per example if someone Lands in his Timeline it is his job to prevent any anomalities and get rid of the ,,intruder". He is rather quiet but at the rare occasion people can talk to him he is friendly,as long they arent on his list. He doesn't like what he do but he know its his only purpose if he doesn't want to become a restless wandering soul again. He treats his victims with respect and never insults them, still he doesn't make exceptions. No matter for which reason someone strands in the timeline his job is clear. If they don't go back into their time he will strike relentlessly. Thenzyn doesn't really have a ,,private life" still he is very focused on his own rules, a dirty surrounding is one of the things he cant stand. He is also a very good cook and craftsman. The scary looking sylvari is, despite his face telling otherwise, very gentle and interested in the life's of other people. Sometimes he can be seen in towns watching the residents doing their thing. One of his abilities is to be very VERY fast and endurant, running away from him is barely possible if you don't use any tricks for distractions. He can hunt for hours without getting tired and killing him only causes Thenzyn to stand up again. Protected be the Keeper of Time he is basically immortal and even a lethal wound will heal in no time. Yet it gives his victims a few minutes. It happened that victims could escape from him one example is the Commander who always manages to trick Thenzyn. Eos was once revived by his brother when he found an end in icebrood and with that he was ,,gone" from the timeline. Coming back to life yeeted him on Thenzyns list cause now he was a anomality. While his death against Balthazar didn't caused it. A question that isn't yet answered. Thenzyn is determined to hunt down Eos and the members of his family cause they all became a anomality with their own fates. And only time will show if Thenzyn will be successful or miraculous stops hunting Eos...
