BLIND DATES BECAUSE WHY NOT
"Hey Conner you’re not busy later today are you?"
Nat peeked her head into her little brother’s room, making sure she wasn’t bothering him from a nap or anything.
"Not really," he replied as he continued to stare at his computer screen.
"Well good because in about 15 minutes you’re gonna meet your date."
"What?! You’re sending me on a blind date again?” he exclaimed.
"Yup."
"Why didn’t you tell me this earlier?!"
"Um… Ha I kinda forgot I guess uh hurry up and get ready I’m gonna drive you to the cinema."
"Ugh but I don’t wanna go on another one of your silly blind dates last time you sent me on one it went terribly," he groaned.
"Trust me you’re gonna like this guy ok he’s amazing."
“Fine,” he grumbled.
-
"Have fun! I’ll pick you up in around 2 hours or so. He should be waiting inside right next to he front counter."
Nat drove off in her car, leaving Conner all alone outside of the cinema. After taking a deep breath, he walked inside. He glanced around the room and saw someone standing in the corner right next to the ticket counter.
That’s probably him, he thought. He’s pretty cute, but why is he-
Before he could finish his thoughts, the guy started to walk up to him.
"Hey, Conner right? I’m Jackson," he said.
"Um nice to meet you. But…"
Conner glanced down at Jackson’s clothes. He was wearing a tuxedo, a fancy tie, the whole get up.
"Why are you in a suit?"
"Oh this? It was my brother’s idea he basically forced me to wear this ugh."
-
EARLIER THAT DAY
"But Jackson you gotta leave a good first impression."
“OH MY GOD TRAV I’M NOT WEARING A TUXEDO TO GO TO THE CINEMA”
-
"I still have no idea how he got me to do it."
