Jane was very sad to devour her friend in front of everyone on the Migrating Fleet, especially considering that her right to reformation had been revoked.

Bad ending idea: After Shepard dies in the ME2 prologue, Hannah, in her grief, goes on a rampage, eating everything in her path.

Attempts to stop the grieving mother ended only with the fact that after a couple of years she was fat enough to start devouring spaceships and stations.

And when the Reapers finally arrived, there was only the abyss of another Shepard's open mouth waiting for them.
