A timeline of Mycroft’s life:

1970: Born (July 18th)

1977 (7yo): Sherlock born

1978 (8yo): Eurus born

1983/4 (13/4yo): Mycroft goes to Eton, having previously been home schooled. Sherlock’s friend, Victor Trevor, goes ‘missing’. Eurus burns the house down. Eurus ‘dead’

1984/5 (14/5yo): Mycroft does his A-levels

1985/6 (15/6yo): Mycroft’s first year at Oxford (Christ Church college)

1987/8 (17/8yo): Mycroft’s last year at Oxford. Once he graduates, he goes to work at MI6.

1990 (20yo): Mycroft’s MI6 training is complete. He begins work on a long-term undercover project of finding and removing moles, traitors, and the like from within the secret service. He presents himself as having decided that field work isn’t for him, moving to a desk job, when in reality he’s investigating those around him. Mycroft’s first romantic relationship also occurs (Peter Maddock, a more experienced agent that trained him). It ends a few months later.

1992 (22yo): Mycroft’s second romantic relationship (Thomas Dymock). Thomas is not aware of the truth of his work

1993 (23yo): Relationship with Thomas ends. Mycroft moves into doing proper fieldwork

1996 (26yo): Mycroft leaves fieldwork after a hostage situation that caused him to be quite badly hurt. Goes into his current job - a unique role that he’s slowly been plating the seeds for during his earlier career

2010 (40yo): Mycroft becomes an earl. Sherlock meets John. 

2011 (41yo): Sherlock ‘dies’. 

2013 (43yo): Sherlock comes back. 

2014 (44yo): Sherlock kills Magnussen

2016 (46yo): The Eurus situation occurs

A timeline of Adam’s love life that nobody but me needed or wanted: a play (selfpara) in 8 acts.

i. 1991 | Ashley & Ben

If anyone asked him who his first crush in school was, he’d start telling a story about a girl named Ashley. Ashley was one of his best friends in second grade. She had brown hair and big green eyes and she played softball. It was one of those schoolyard puppy-love infatuations, and one he eventually grew out of. 

It’s not a lie, either - maybe he did have a crush on Ashley.

He just doesn’t tell anyone about the other first from around the same time - Ben, with the big brown eyes and short-cropped hair, who laughs too loud and always gets into trouble. Adam doesn’t care about what he looks like so much as how much he likes being near him. 

ii. 1998 | Sybil

Sybil is his first kiss. It’s not really supposed to be anything serious. He just knows that she’s cute, and they’re friends, and he’s never kissed a girl before, even though he’s already fourteen. It’s embarrassing. Maybe she just takes pity on him, sitting out back of her parents’ house. 

He’s not a very good kisser, it turns out - at least not with Sybil. She laughs at him a little bit, but he shrugs it off. I just need more practice at it.

iii. 2000 | Carter

Why did his parents have to send him to an all-boys’ high school? Is this some kind of twisted punishment from God? He’s heard enough sermons about what happens to people who have thoughts like this to assume this has to be some kind of test.

One he fails. Spectacularly. 

But he tries to tell himself that it’s not really his fault that Carter is just as curious as he is. Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back - and at the end of the day, kissing him is entirely too satisfying.

iv. 2003 | Sam

Sam is tall and handsome and he’s on the school rowing team. They’ve been dancing around it for weeks. Teasing. Flirting, Adam realizes, and he thinks he means it. Which is why he follows Sam up to that frat house bedroom in the middle of that party, thinking god, this is it.

Which, in turn, is why they get caught. He can still hear the uncomfortable laughter and the slurs tinged with disgust.

They’re in the same law class, but Adam doesn’t talk to Sam again except to try and offer excuses. I was drunk. It was stupid. I’m not like that. It never happened.

v. 2004 | Andrea

Immediately after is when he starts dating Andrea. She’s 5′4″, which makes all their friends laugh when they go out together. She’s easy to talk to and likes all the same things he does and she’s got an incredible body. She’s, in a word, the perfect girl. 

It takes a while to for him to gather the courage to get her in bed, but it’s something he can live with. It’s not mindblowing, but it feels good. He gets used to it, really. The relationship doesn’t last, but he assumes even so that it’s a sign that he’s finally grown past whatever he used to be.

vi. 2011 | Julia

Julia is the one. Everyone seems sure of it. He met her not long after coming to DC to start with the Supreme Court, and they hit it off almost immediately. She’s whip smart, a take-charge kind of woman - the perfect compliment to his quieter nature. 

You’ve been together over 2 years. She’d look real good in a white dress, his mother insists when they come to visit for Christmas that year. Lilah’s got Scott. It’s about your turn. Even if he offers a halfhearted protest, he can’t help but agree. He goes so far as to start looking at rings before it occurs to him how uncomfortably the idea settles in the pit of his stomach. 

The breakup is about the hardest thing he’s ever had to do, and Julia just keeps crying. I don’t understand why you’re doing this. 

As much as it pains him to admit, and even though he’ll never say it out loud, he just catches himself thinking neither do I. 

vii. 2014 | ?

He doesn’t date anymore. Not really. He develops the same familiar excuses, and they’re the same ones on his lips for the years that follow.

I don’t have time. 

I’m too busy.

I don’t want to put anyone through trying to date a politician.

I haven’t really met anyone who caught my eye.

He does end up in an underground bar in Richmond, just once, tangled up with a man whose name he never learns. Maybe he doesn’t want to know. Either way, he scares himself back to silence and doesn’t indulge otherwise, keeping it all close to his chest. 

viii. 2017 | Hans

Boy meets boy.

Boy falls in love.

Boy gets what he never let himself acknowledge he was missing.

It’s maybe not as neat and tidy as the fairy tales make it sound, but it’s still good. For the first time in a long time, he’s happy in his own skin. That’s all he can ask for, really.

And the rest is history, isn’t it?

An extended lore timeline of Vincent’s bloodline

13?? BCE – Sheska the Shapeshifter (?) is born

134? BCE - The Sorceress is born

134? BCE – Qaqu is born in Akkad

1309 BCE – An assassination is attempted on Q mortally wounding them. Q promptly leaves Akkad for Babylon.

1290 BCE – Seth is born to Sheska

1308 BCE – Q falls restless over their own mortality and begins searching for ways to prolong their life.

1306 BCE – Q leave Babylon and travels south to search for immortality

1292 BCE – Q returns to Babylon.

1291 BCE – Q acquire pseudo-immortality.

1290 BCE – Several children are born to Q. Five are sacrificed.

1250 BCE – Q’s first children rebel and flee after they are forced to participate and sacrifice their sibling.

14?? CE – Q marries Amelie. Malik is born. Angelique is born.

1500 CE – Completion of the first Chateau Solaris.

1565 CE – Angelique is sacrificed to create The Doppelganger. Q sacrifices their right arm to bind them. Malik is devoured to give The Doppelganger their first human visage.

1595 CE – Chateau Solaris burns. Q fakes death. The Doppelganger is instructed watch their children.

16?? CE – The Doppelganger takes the form of a woman and gives birth to Maria and Samantha.

167? CE – Jacques and Gunther are born as identical twins. Q makes a bet of faith with The Sorceress, to see if faith or magic makes a man stronger. Under Q’s influence the twins are to be separated. Jacques is raised and silently puppeteer to a life in the Christian faith, whereas Gunther is raised to the servitude of his magically inclined bloodline.

1700 CE – Jacques pursues the life of a Witchhunter.

170? CE – The second Chateau Solaris is built. Corbett is born.

1725 CE – Under the manipulation of the Doppelganger Jacques is set in pursuit of his twin. Both meet in the presence of Q with others of their bloodline and each unable to comprehend their similarity, claim each is a trick. Gunther hesitates and Jacques is able to stab Gunther, killing him. Displeased that they lost the bet, Q reveals their game to Jacques. The Doppelganger overwhelms Jacques and is ordered to crucify and burn the Witchhunter as he had done to others. Jacques vows that he would not rest until he sees Q’s family destroyed. Q binds Jacques soul to a pocket watch and gives it to Corbett.

1765 – Corbett is driven insane by the voice of The Witchhunter and sets fire to Chateau Solaris, partially destroying the structure. Q disappears. Many others become haunted and due to Q’s complacency scatter. The cursed pocket watch disappears.

1790 - 1794 – The few remaining loyal in France are executed.

1820 - 1835 – An attempt is made to buy and rebuild the second Chateau. The purchaser and several builders are found disembowelled half way through restoration prompting and investigation although the case is never solved.

186? – Arthur Beaumont is born.

187? – Eva is born.

1895 – Eva marries Arthur.

1897 – Arthur buys back Eva’s ancestral land and both ruined Chateau’s. Both move to oversee the restoration. Dense forests cleared to make way for wheat.

1901 – Sophie and Dean are born.

1905 – Eva commits suicide. Chateau’s restoration at 90% completion.

1909 – Arthur’s family is bankrupted. An anonymous buyer purchases all their properties. Arthur finds the Black Tomes and shattered fragment Mirror of Kur.

1912 – Mordecai is born.

1914 – Dean and Sophie are killed in an explosion.

1923 – Q returns and seeks an audience with Seth and the Sorceress in New York. Mordecai is chosen to be Q’s heir

1928 – Arthur pursues with the aid of the tomes Q and stabs them with a knife fashioned from the mirror fragment they found. Q is fatally wounded and dies. The Doppelganger devours Arthur and takes the tomes from him.

1930 – Ebony is born. Mordecai becomes Seth’s apprentice. Mordecai falls in love with a ballerina Iva nearing the end of her career, impressing her with butterflies and automated animals he fashions out of clock and watch parts. He finds her murdered later that year. Devastated he steals he hides her corpse and embalms it fashioning a clockwork husk around the mummified body. Mordecai seals her soul to the automation. Iva becomes unstable prompting Mordecai to break Iva’s legs. Seth leaves.

1931 – Mortimer is born.

1950 – Mortimer and Ebony meet.

1952 – Ebony inherits the abandoned Chateau Solaris. Ebony discovers the Mirror of Kur. The power of the mirror possesses Ebony and fragments of Q are able to be reborn through Ebony.

1953 – Ebony pursues Mortimer back to England

1954 – Ebony gives birth to Nathan. Both personalities of Q and Ebony become apparent and battle for dominance. Mortimer leaves Ebony. Samuel is born.

1959 – Ebony is admitted to a mental institute.

1965 – The Doppelganger located and releases Q. Q pursues Mortimer and Nathan.

1968 – The Doppelganger takes the visage of Nathan to seduce Q and start a cult. Q gives birth to Vincent and Lou. Mortimer leaves everyone.

1971 – Nathan is framed for murder and starting a cult. Samuel accidently steals the pocket watch that contains Jacques’ soul and awakens the Witchhunter whom promptly goes on a killing spree.

1974 – The Doppelganger seduces Samuel as Nathan to use as bait for the Witchhunter. The malevolent spirit possesses Samuel and forces him to murder the cult. Mortimer is instructed to investigate the crime. Samuel charged for the murder, but retains his innocence. The Witchhunter now linked indefinitely to Samuel possesses him again and breaks him out of his cell. Iva repairs her legs and kills Mordecai. Seth returns to London and destroys Iva. Mortimer pairs up with the Sorceress in pursuit of Q.

1978 – Vincent drop out of school.

1979 – Lou is struck and killed while riding his bike by a possessed Samuel. Jacques intention was to have Samuel kill both brothers, but Samuel’s body suffers a seizure and Jacques loses control. Vincent falls into depression over the loss of his brother and becomes excessively violent and suicidal, leading to his eventual restraint. The Doppelganger is instructed by Q to save their last heir. The Doppelganger murders Vincent’s caregiver and becomes his legal guardian. Zedd is unearthed to assist.

1980 – Mortimer and the sorceress leave London for the US in pursuit of Q.

1981 – Vincent attempts to resurrect Lou but fails, becoming disheartened and depressed. Jacques becomes aware of Vincent. A possessed driver hits Vincent, fatally injuring him. Zedd is destroyed. The Doppelganger rescues Vincent and sacrifices himself to give Vincent immortality.

1982 – Samuel attempt to reconcile with Vincent.

1985 – Maria and Samantha are ordered to kill Mortimer. Seth wounds the twins and they flee. Samuel is beaten and critically injured in a fight. Vincent kills the victors by forcing them to kill each other. Samuel becomes addicted to morphine. Vincent joins him.

1987 – Samuel’s sanity and health diminish. Mortimer returns to London

1990 – Mortimer passes away due to lung cancer.

1992 – Samuel passes away.

199? – Q is presumed dead

2000 – The Doppelganger regenerates.

Alice & Lysander; Once In A While

Alice had a weird day. All she wanted to do right now was hug her brother, but he's damn missing. She honestly didn't know where to head off to now, but all she could think of was the next best thing; Lysander. Alice had a lot of acting big brothers, and he's one of them. Sadly, he's the only one she barely contacted while she was in the muggle world. So, the girl decided to pay him a quick visit.

Alice had no idea where he could be, but one thing for sure was that he'd still be living at the last place she remembers. With that thought in mind, Alice closed her eyes and quickly apparated to his bedroom. Once she reappeared, the girl fell onto the bed; seems like he moved things around since her last visit, causing her to land on a spot she previously knew as clear. "H-Hello!" she squeaked and greeted the other, as a small giggle slipped her lips.

Eridan could not believe that the Empress had granted him leave for this. The drow found himself face to face with the Senator as the drow’s own heart threatened to hammer out of his chest. He kept himself calm, and his grip steady on his wand. He was prepared for this. His tussle with Dave had taught Eridan that he could not rely on magic alone to fight those aboveground. He had been absent online as he trained relentlessly to prepare for this one shining moment. He had volunteered to take out the eldest Strider, and he alone was going to crush Dirk with the death. A grin formed to his lips as the pair of them sized each other up. This was going to be a monumental task, but he was prepared. He would not fail his people.

A quick glance around the room proved it to be of a decent sized study. Books lined the walls, and all sorts of fancy decorations proved to be in the way. The niceties of the room would not matter shortly, and the Strider was making a move before Eridan had time to quip any smart remark before the battle. Didn’t all evil beings get to do that? Fuckin’ rude. His chance to smug had been spoilt by the elf rushing forward with sword raised. Eridan barely had time to raise his right hand to materialize a small, purple shield of magic. The barrier cracked easily under the might of the blow but the drow was already moving. The Senator was quick, and Eridan already knew he was going to have to make this fast or else he would not survive.

The drow had a blade but he could tell it would not withstand the blows of the elf’s might. Eridan found himself vaulting over a couch as he struggled to just avoid the onslaught that was relentless as the torments he received online. Anger started to rise from Eridan’s belly as chants rolled from his lips. They were breathy as he worked to counter the blade or dodge whenever possible. Cuts begin to form on his body as his magic is either not fast or strong enough to completely stave off the attacks.

As his final word is said, the spell is cast with a flick of a wrist. Water began to drip from the ceiling before it started to pour; thunder and lightning followed. Whenever the lightning struck, a purple flame arose that was not quelled by the rain. A moment of nausea washed over him, allowing a blade to hack his leg. He hissed, stumbling back and lashing out with a quick spell from the wand towards the elf. He watches as it bounces off the Strider, and the grin that formed briefly at the knowledge that basic spells would not do the job; Eridan knew that it would take something of more caliber. The other hardly seemed concerned by the spell raging around them; it was a passive aggressive one that Eridan was hoping to use to his advantage. The flames certainly would burn without pause if the Strider were to move through them, but Eridan doubted the other would.

The cut on the leg was proving to be difficult in fleeing now, but Eridan was gaining an upper hand. He moved far better in the thundering storm. The lights were out at this point leaving the duo mostly to fight within the dark save for the faint light from the window. The elf seemed to be slowing down, measuring out the attacks down in between strikes of the lightning and whenever their spar brought them closer to the light source. Curses were flying from Eridan’s lips as found himself struggling to avoid being killed. A rash plan formulated within his mind, and small spells of ensnarement were being cast now. A little log here, a bramble of wire there—all to get the other off balance.

The drow was waiting for the right moment. He was a breath of a moment away from casting one, large spell; his saving grace. And within moments it appeared before him. The Strider appeared within a flash of moment faster than Eridan could dodge out of harm’s way. A blade sunk deep into shoulder right. Pain and rage fueled the grip of the injured arm gripping the Strider’s arm to maintain their closeness. The hand wielding the wand raised with deadly aim at the Strider’s face, and with a final cry, cast a bright, large stream of blinding white light. The pair of them were blasted back with the force of it. The sword was wretched out of the drow’s shoulder, and he slammed into the back of a table. Air whooshed from his lungs, and the thundering above was starting to trickle away. He raised a hand to clutch at his shoulder, eyes scanning for the other.

They landed upon a body being licked and burnt by flames. The flames slowly dissipated as the spell grew weaker and weaker which left a lightly charred body. The drow waited two full heartbeats before he arose and stumbled over to the presumed corpse. The site before him was gruesome, but Eridan was confidant the elf was dead considering the Strider was lacking a head and part of his chest. A slow check of Eridan’s own body revealed that he had not gotten off unscathed from the closeness of the cast. Wounds of various degrees raked his body along with a few burn marks scorched into his left arm. He could feel himself getting weaker and weaker. He needed a token though as proof of his deeds, and for his own sick collection. A finger would do, and the blade would do nicely to take it.

He doesn’t remember much of the escape. His allies found him in the room shortly after the commotion had stopped, and he knew he had needed help walking out of there. A healer off site briefly tended to his wounds for the traveling that they had to undertake. He knew that he was a lucky drow to be alive at the moment, but pride burned within every fiber of his being.

He was going to kill them all.

Alice & Phoebe; Some Nights

After spending most of her first day back in the wizarding world with Hugo, it was finally time to check on her parents and how they were. Unfortunately, they were locked up in Hogwarts and the girl had no idea. Once she did find out though, the first thing she did was head over to the Leaky Cauldron to visit her big brother; Frank Longbottom II.

Entering the pub, Alice’s eyes searched the room for Frank. Pursing her lips together and stopping a waiter in their tracks, the girl looked up at the other to ask them where the man was. They had no idea, so she sighed and simply let her eyes return to searching the room for now. Then, a familiar face was spotted. They were walking towards her, well towards her direction that is “Phoebe.” she said, as she gently placed a hand on their arm once they were close enough to her “Hi, it’s Alice.” she then added, reminding them that they knew each other. Kind of... Phoebe recommended Alice to work at her muggle mothers flower shop; but she kindly declined it to work at a different flower shop, at a different location.
