Did I Dream you Dreamt About Me?

Solamente los recuerdos quedan. Anoche. Tan real se sintió el sentimiento. Un sentimiento tan real; tan físico que cuando uno despierta, solamente se queda con la tristeza de la realidad en su obscuridad. La tristeza que fue aún solamente un sueño distante.  Solamente tú y yo en un cuarto desconocido. Quizá tu departamento con solamente una luz distante que cubre todo con su aura fluorescente. Tu cuerpo desnudo y cálido. Cálido como la tierra cerca de un volcán que por siglos ha tenido la flojera de despertar. Cálido como la arena que espera cada noche la marea y la despide cada mañana.

Tu cuerpo desnudo en mis brazos mientras dormías. ¿Quizás soñabas de mí?  ¿Quizá soñabas a otro? ¿Quizá solamente éramos dos seres atrapados en el mismo sueño?  Los teclados de una melodía se oían a la distancia. La lluvia había empezado y el humo del cigarrillo de clavo que compartíamos llenaba la atmosfera del cuarto. Tranquilidad, paz, sueño y tu piel canela desvaneciéndose entre mí.
