I am once again making myself over a Thunderbirds fanfic that does exist 😭
I guess this is a one shot of a mashup fic between Thunderbirds (2004)/(2015) and Big Hero 6......
Warning, this contains Angst (yup, with a capital "A") and Major Character Death (if you've seen Big Hero 6, this isn't a surprise), so proceed with caution

"My purpose is to heal the sick and injured"
Alan didn't CARE, he continued to desperately claw at the access hatch to the port on Baymax' chest. The computers in the now desolate lab continued to whir around him, ready to obey his commands, so why was Baymax not obeying him?
"Baymax, open your access port!" Alan stressed in a clipped tone, clawing and hitting uselessly at the light yet sturdy armour that incased the machine.
"Do you want me to terminate the Hood?"
That, Alan didn't know, there were so many conflicting emotions running through his mind, anguish, hurt, fury, defeat, revenge. He didn't know which was stronger.
"Just open!" Alan had had enough, removing the chest plate from Baymax, the International Rescue blue of the armour, almost mocking him in the low light. He was getting desperate and why would Baymax not just LISTEN!!! FOR ONCE!!! Nobody listened to Alan. Always the youngest. Always the sprout. Always the unwanted, accident child! Alan continued to claw and pry and pull and push at the port. Anything to make it open.
"Will terminating the Hood improve your emotional state?"
"YES..... N-NO,,,, I-I don't KNOW! Open your access!" Alan's mind was a million miles away and his breath was quickening and his hands were shaking and his vision was tunnelling in until all that was left was him and Baymax...... No empty silo where Thunderbird 3 used to rest, no battered and bruised remains of Thunderbirds 1 and 2, no lab where Brains and Fermat would spend all their time together, with his Dad and brothers occasionally chiming in... just him and Baymax...
"Is this what the Tracy's wanted?" That struck a cord in Alan, but it only made him more frantic. Alan's own imitation of the Thunderbirds uniform was getting too tight, it felt like ants on his skin knowing that his brothers and father had worn the same outfit, had died in the same outfit, and he'd never actually received one of his own from them.
"It doesn't matter" he forced out through clenched teeth, he didn't think he could take much more of this, and this scared him because he didn't want to do something to his brothers' last creation in his anger.
"The Tracy's programmed me to aid and-"
"THE TRACY'S ARE GONE" Alan gave one last feeble smack to the medic bot before he hunched over in his grief, forehead resting on the marshmallow like stomach of the bot in front of him.
"All of the Tracy's that matter are gone" his throat was tight with the salty tears that burned his eyes, painting on his face a path of his regrets and failures.
They had all died, on the bird that John and his dad and himself had loved so much. It was all his fault. That sub would have never found Tracy island if he had never fired up Thunderbird 1 without permission. He was so stupid to think he could handle that alone....
"The Tracy's are here."
The submarine had found the island.
The missile had found its target.
"No, they're not here"
The 4 remaining Tracy's in International Rescue went to the aid of their Space Monitor.
5 IR operatives and 2 Thunderbirds met their death that day in a ball of flames and anguish and unanswered prayers.
"The Tracy's are here."
And it was all his fault.
There was a soft hum of electricity and fading into clarity from the screen on Baymax's belly, was Virgil. Alan could barely see that much from the renewed tears in his eyes...
"This is Virgil Tracy, and this is the first test of Baymax," Virgil looked off camera, "is this definitely the name we're going with?" a chorus of "Yes!" came from somewhere vaguely to the left.
"This is the first test of Baymax, who should hopefully be joining our rescue operation for certain missions" Virgil beemed with pride into the camera, "Alright buddy, let's see what you can do."
The last thing Alan saw was that dopey smile on Virgil's face before the video dissolved to blackness before quickly being replaced by another. Various tests, trials, and tribulations played on in the development of Baymax as Virgil, John, Brains, and even Gordon and Scott all pitched in on this passion project for IR.
"Hi Baymax!" this time is was Gordon, with a sunny smile on his face. "I don't think you'll be that much help on water rescues, but Virgil and John wanted me to speak to you anyway? Something about teaching your learning chip about emotions and me being 'overzealous enough to fit the job' or whatever that means. Little do they know, I'm gonna teach you naughty words-" Gordon was promptly cut off by a loud booming "DON'T YOU DARE, GORDON!!!!" coming from an enraged Dad.
Alan let out another watery chuckle despite the tears still streaming down his face and his nose joining the mess too.
Shortly after, another video lit up the screen. This one seeming much more different than the last. The lab was dark, scarcely light up by some monitors and machinery here and there, much reflecting his own setting at that current time.
This time, the video was only Scott, sitting on the floor with his knees up and his legs crossed at the ankle.
"I just don't know what to do Baymax... I miss him so much. I understand why Dad wants to send him away to boarding school but I hate us being separated from one another like this... Sprout is growing,,, well,,, like a sprout, and I feel like time is just passing us by, like I barely know the kid, even though I practically raised him, y'know?" Scott sighed and rubbed his hand down his face and then throw his already tussled hair. "I had another fight with Dad over this... I just want him home... even for a bit. We can teach Sprout everything he needs to know about maths and science and language,,,, maybe if he could do even one semester home with us? As a trial to see if it could work?" Another sigh. "All our Brother's miss him too. John misses someone to talk to who is as passionate about space. Gordon misses the other half of his terrible two. Virgil misses someone to share his art with, who would stand there and be his muse. I miss my baby brother, I raised him for so long, it didn't feel right to leave for the airforce, but Dad wouldn't let me put my own life on hold.... I'd do it Baymax, I'd do it 100 times over..." Scott looked up at Baymax's face, a melancholy smile on his face. "Wait until my baby brother sees you. He's going to love you." With that, Scott stood up and was now near enough eye level with Baymax, "Alright bud,,, I better get to bed now... I am satisfied with my care."
Alan reached out one hand to touch Scott's face on the screen, caressing the image and wishing that he could feel skin just one last time.
With a sniffle, Alan let out a sigh and finally acknowledged the bot that the screen was attached to for what must have been the first time in about 20 minutes.
"Thank you Baymax...." Alan paused, clearing his throat and trying in vain to dry his eyes as well.
"I am so sorry... I guess I'm not like my brothers"
