𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒈, 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒅 & 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆 -- ᴅᴇᴍɪ ﹠ sʜᴀᴡɴ 9.16.20
Feeling like weeks since she had really seen Shawn, the woman texted him that morning. ‘Me, you? Studio? Write and catch up?’ It was that simple and when the man responded that he was down for it, she pushed the covers off her body and groaned. Batman woke up and wiggles over to his mom and flopped down next to her. Yawning herself she looked down at now both of her pups wanting her attention. “Hi my babies” she said leaning down to kiss the both of them, they were everything to her, and after the tragic passing of her first pup, buddy she knew these two healed her heart even with the small white pup still with her everyday. Pushing herself off her bed and placed them on the ground as she padded her way down to the kitchen, coffee being made and breakfast for the three of them. Also making a plate for Hailey so she could heat it when she woke up, she was that good roommate that did that. “You guys wanna go to the studio with me??” Asking them like they could talk back to her. Knowing Ella had a very fondness for hailey, she had a feeling she wouldn’t be coming with, much rather be snuggled up with Oscar and Hailey. Walking back up stairs she changed into just some loose sweats and a fitted shirt -- tucking the chain inside of the shirt she put on. The brunette pushed her glasses onto her face with a hand running through her hair, wanting to get to her condo and get things up and at least lit and clean up if she had to.
Her and Shawn went back a few years, officially meeting the man back in 2017 at a Halloween party, she was dressed up as selena that year and he literally just looked like he showed up just to have a good time and /not/ dress up. Which made him stick out like a sore thumb. Before then it was just seeing him at the same award shows, saying hi and then calling it a day since the chaos that came with show days, the last thing on Demis mind was actually getting to know new people. Her old management had a tight leash on her. Shawn was a breath of fresh air since he wasn’t apart of that management what so ever so he wasn’t brainwashed. The 19 year old really made an impression on Demi as seeing the two became closer with time. Often catching up in writing sessions at her home studio or the actual studio. She was the first one to start teasing him about Hailey since she had been friends with the woman since almost forever. She had seen it all between them and was there for both when things went to crap. Today she was wanting to get more out of the man and how he felt about seeing her because she was a sucker for love stories since forever.
Slipping her shoes on she harnessed Batman and kept the leash in her pocket. Trying to put ellas on seemed to prove a problem as the white dog ran into haileys room and snuggled against the model. Demi tilted her head to the side and Ella just got closer to her best friend. “Okay your sister isn’t coming let’s go buddy..” saying to Batman as he just wagged his tail at her and following her as Demi left the house. Locking the door behind her, she pulled her car keys out and scooped her son up and placed him in the Escalade as she got in. Hooking him up to the seatbelt. “We’re gonna go see uncle Shawn..you ready??” Placing her sunglasses on her face she smiled brightly at her pup before driving the car down the drive way and towards her condo. Putting the windows down, batman enjoyed the breeze of the warm California sun as he kept sniffing and then sneezing before of too much air intake. When demi pulled into her parking space for the condo she grabbed batman and headed up to walk inside. Putting batman down, she left the door unlocked so Shawn could just walk in when he got here. Grabbing a water from the fridge as she padded her way to the studio inside of her condo. @shawnrmnds
