This came up in my FB memories this morning. My first western since the Siege of The Alamo book I wrote and drew in the early 90s. It’s been two years since I started doing stories for The Creeps Magazine again. It got me thinking. Time is such an elusive creature. This story I remember clearly as a good breakfast at noon. Kung hindi mo hahayaang gawin ng isang tao ang isang bagay sa ‘yo, hindi n'ya 'yun gagawin. Pero wala, e. Hinahayaan mo, ineentertain mo. Kung patuloy mong gagawin 'yan, pare-pareho lang tayong masasaktan. Kung nagi-guilty ka dahil pakiramdam mo, hindi mo nasusuklian 'yung mga bagay na ginagawa n'ya sa 'yo, e 'di 'wag mo s'yang hayaang gawin 'yun sa 'yo! OR, maging kayo na lang, para hindi ka na maguilty. It doesn’t comes naturally, you’re just letting it to happen. Hindi tayo kahapon ipinanganak at hindi din kita kahapon nakilala so do not give me that explanation. Kung nagi-guilty ka, sana hindi na lang ako ang pinili mo. Sana hindi na lang natin 'to inayos ngayon. Kasi mas masakit s'ya, e. Pero ano nga ba'ng alam mo sa nararamdaman ko? Everytime I’m openning up to you, you want me to be quiet. You don’t want me crying. Naiinis ka. Ayaw mong magdrama ako sa 'yo. Sanay ka na nakikita akong nasasaktan at umiiyak kaya ayaw mo na lang pansinin, kaya naiinis ka na lang.

Pero ano ba ang mas masakit?

'Yung side n'ya, na nawala ka sa kanya kahit hindi naman kayo, never naman nagkaro'n ng kayo at never naman naging kayo?

O 'yung side ko na anim na taon, tapos umalis ka. Ngayong bumalik ka at handa na nating ayusin ang lahat, at saka ko mararamdaman na parang wala ka, wala ka pa rin?

Maybe it's just me but for some reason I have this serious need to forget. I just wanna forget everything, all of it. I wanna wake up and not even remember my own name, I wanna wake up and forget all the pain. I wanna wake up and forget it all. My brain be wiped of all the darkness, the demons drowned in forgetfulness. Uhh I could just forget it all. Oh how I wish.
