As a kid who learned that there can be murderers that kill in cold-blood systematically - my teachers felt the need to underline how racism and genocide were a reality, that the holocaust was real - I was often taught to stand up for other people’s rights, to love thy neighbour/close ones.
Try to step out of your comfort quarantine zone and watch the news - there is repression, there is hatred being spewed out by local news media. This happened before, Americans. Yet, here in tumblr is all silence. I may have an uniform fetish but I don’t condone fascism or racist views.
I just haven’t seen people doing a “I might like this fandom but I need to step out of this and try to help other human beings.” Order a mask, sign a petition, donate, even if it’s just three dollars. I know I am doing my part by twitting about injustices. I know it’s hard to read about people losing lives but let’s all take a moment - there are murder accomplice criminals out there. Your President is threatening going full dictator repressive on people who are peacefully protesting. There are some dickheads that infiltrated the demonstrations but you choose to respond with radio silence or “they’rE all VIOLENT”. That says a lot. Not all of Floyd’s murderers were arrested. What I’m saying to me that’s an injustice!
