A/N: Based on timfanficnatic headcanon that gave total inspiration. Hope you love it darling! It was really fun to write. Also if people are interested I might put up the aftermath of this. Enjoy!
Almost compulsively Red Hood looked around for the smaller man, a slight gnawing sensation making him jumpier then he would like to admit. And the large sigh of relief as he saw a whirlwind of red and bo staff was another thing he wasn’t planning on admitting. Lately, the two had been working a few things together. Nothing like a partnership or whathaveyou, but not something he was ready to call backup, Tim would approach him when things were a bit too big for just himself to take down but just dirty enough he didn’t want to involve the Bats, and Jason would shoot him a line when things usually looked like they were gonna get sticky. It was nice to have him there, and well it was nice to say he’d gotten over his anger to the kid, over all his past feelings. Their relationship had always been weird, not quite brothers, not quite enemies, not quite colleagues, not quite partners, but whatever they were now as they crashed at each others safe houses, stole each others food and clothes, it was something vastly different and it gave him this funny feeling.
Any further thought at the funny feeling had to wait as the hair stood up on the back of his neck and he whipped around, just in time to catch a left hook from one of Ivy’s pheromone addled thugs and send him on his ass in retaliation. The cloud of dust that had coated everything had started to dissipate from when a thug had careened into it, giving them a clearer line of a sight of the five men still left standing, Ivy perched on her favorite man eating plant.
Hood’s back bumped against Tim’s as they eyed the remaining men, “No sweat, am I right?”
The muffled sound of his chuckle through a respirator relaxes his stance slightly, “Yeah Hood, and things never get complicated.”
“Oh that’s my sort of event!” Almost moving in sync, they went after the remaining men, flowing in and out of each other like a well rehearsed dance as they bounded and leaped from one to the other, their styles so different though meshing so well. Soon it’s only them and Ivy left in the room.
“You’re both just as bad as those monsters you’re attempting to stop me from punishing! They bring this celebration of death into the city and you try to hinder their justice!!” she fumed from her man-eater, her arms shooting up as vines began to snatch out at the pair. “Those disgusting wretches! I’ll show them, and you two won’t get in my way.” They struggled against the plants holding them at bay, wrapping around them and tugging as Ivy approached, “I was looking for someone new to test this on…” She hissed out as Jason felt the things attempting to pry off his helmet as he watched them rip off Tim’s respirator.
With one gentle blow the red powder coated them and the plants dropped them unceremoniously, as Tim coughed and coughed all Jay could think about was how he hopped his filters would hold out against whatever this stuff was. By the time he reoriented himself with lifting his head up, Ivy was gone, and Tim was desperately trying to wipe at his face. Carefully, Jason inched to him, “Hey.. Babybird… talk to me… what’s going on…”
His breath caught in his chest as Tim’s eyes locked onto his, even though he was wearing a white out domino, he could feel the intensity, the need coming off him in waves, “J-Jaybird… I…” he groaned out as he attempted to stand, Jason rushing to his side to stabilize him. Again their eyes met, Tim’s hand wavering to caress the side of the helmet, “Jason… take it off…” To put emphasis on his words, Tim aligned his body with Jason’s and pressed, causing the other man to stiffen.
It felt like lightning had struck him as Tim pushed his hips into Jay’s, and instantly he knew what they were hit with, what had cause this sudden display of affection, what caused the bulging hard on being pressed against his own crotch. “Red, what are you…?”
“You need to take that off….” Tim’s hands fumbled with the latches on his helmet, twitchy and uncoordinated from sheer want as he began to get impatient.
“No.. that’ll make everything worse…” Jason tried to untangle the limbs around him as he tried to process some way out of this situation.
“But Jason.. Jason… I need to see you..” Tim fought against him, pressed into him more, a moan of relief coming from his parted lips as he tried to grind against him.
“No!” He pushed the boy back before quickly yanking him into a grappling hold, his back on Jay’s chest. His mind raced as he attempted to keep the boy from getting any leverage on him while keeping his mind off the tightening in his pants.
A whine escaped Tim’s lips as he tried to move against his captor, “Jay… Jason please…. please… Jason…. I need you!”
“But this isn’t how I want you! I don't want it to happen like this!! I want it to be on our own terms when we’re ready!!” The words had blurted out of his mouth before he could think. They sunk into the now silent air as all Jay could hear was white noise as his mind went blank. The past couple of months now began to fall into place, why everything had been feeling weird for him when it came to Tim, why he couldn’t help squirming whenever he thought of the boy.
Still squirming in his grip, Tim seemed to have less fight in him though the desire from the pollen pumped through his veins. Small noises escaped the boy’s lips as he wriggled, the tension in his body screaming through every muscle. Everything seemed to blur together with time almost nonexistent as the struggle faded slowly, the panting and huffs of breath the only sound as Tim finally went limp against Jason’s, sweat coating his skin.
“T-Tim…?” Jason risked speaking, his voice barely above a whisper, “Are you.. are you back…?”
The man could only feel the slightest nod against his armor as the small frame began to curl in on himself with a shudder. Slowly Jay began to collect the boy in his arms so they could stand, finally getting a chance to see his drained looking face.
A small smile flickered across Tim’s lips as he looked into the eyes of Jason’s helmet, “T-Thank you… J-Jason… for… being… here…”
Tim couldn’t see the strained smile under helmet, and Jason thanked god for that as he ran a hand soothingly through the boy’s slick hair, “Always Babybird…”
