So I’m writing a story for a prompt exchange thing and it’s only now really hitting me how much I’ve bit off and how much of this is... well my brain being bigger then my time frame.

I’m 9 pages in and haven’t gotten about halfway... This will probably be my longest published story to date and I hope to every deity I can get it done in time...

what's your favorite OC?

Ohmigod I’m so awful about asks! I am so so so sorry. I swear I have some semblance of consistence, I promise.

I’ll give to responses cause I’m not sure the first one counts.

My favorite is the concept of Nightngale, a vigilante title, powerset, and similar backgroundish that I’ve used for multiple characters in surrounding situations that you can see the connecting thread of why I give them the Nightngale position/legacy/whatever.

But for an actual individual character I’d say it’s Wyatt, a young boy from Louisiana who coexists with an ancient fire elemental who has been symbiotic in having a host throughout the generations of family.

10:What’s your biggest writer pet-peeve?

Overused tropes, like okay I get it every once in a while, but not everything has to be cliched.

27:Which is your favorite genre to write?

Can I just go something as general as fantasy? I think I’m gonna cause I really can’t narrow it down past then because I love all the bloody possibilities.

39:What’s the weirdest story idea you’ve ever had?

Jeez… I can’t even remember. Nothing I can concretely go “that shit was weird” on. Probably some weird ass story line I threw at us for writing a drabble.

45:What’s your favorite character name?

Aiden, definitely. It just has so many ways it can be applied and used.

48:If you could write the next book of any series, which one would it be, and what would you make the book about?

Okay hear me out, James Bond. I want to do where he’s older and he’s been kidnapped by SMERSH and it being a situation he just can’t get out of yet. That’s when M goes into Russia to find their only hope, a daughter that Bond never knew he had but M had been training as a sleeper cell since they killed the girl’s mother for not handing over any British intelligence she may or may not have even had. And she goes on this mission to save her father from this newest incarnation of the old foe that seriously won’t give up on the whole Cold War era thing. And she’s just as badass as her dad, but unlike him she’s actually working well with the operative MI6 sent over, a young Indian woman who the daughter finds unfairly hot.

37:What’s your oldest WIP?

Oh god, Imma consider this as one that I’m still working on as I can’t even fathom what it’d be otherwise. I’d have to say there’s a story I’m writing with Sable (writeroffates) that we’ve been working on since 2012 and literally don’t plan on ever ending or publishing it. It’s really long, and really intricate and a total piece of work I’m really fucking proud of.

38:What’s your current WIP?

Currently I’ve got a lot of things open and running cause wow I have trouble finding the time to finish things and I have lots of ideas. So I’m gonna say it’s a tie between a prompt I’m returning to Imma not spoil cause it’s a bit to explain and a personal thing of mine which is basically Batfam and a few OC’s doing firefly esk stuff and aliens and shenanigans and I’m actually really really fucking proud of it.

what are your strengths wrt writing?

Jeez… I think it’s in descriptions, I love painting with my words a lot. To a point where I’ve been told I’m too wordy. So like characterization and such would fall into that I guess.

I’ve proven to be pretty good at fight scenes, I’m totally the type that acts it out and ropes anyone around into helping me, though I haven’t written one in a while.

Sable said I’m good with plot devices, but I don’t know many so if I’m using them I don’t really know so I can’t judge but I trust her.

My imagination/creativity. Give me an idea and let me pace for a bit and within an hour or so I’ll probably have a whole entire world made…
