Debris crumbles rolled down the walls of this wretched cell. Back against rock, Alak sat in the darkest of pits. Knees bent, wrists resting on the hives knees. His fingers and thumbs rubbed together, the only sound within was the friction of his thumb and index finger making a sort of grinding noise.
The only other sounds he was able to hear was his own thoughts. Ongoing, never ending. Over Thinking and plotting in the dark like some sort of monster. His jaw gritted and tightened as his thoughts ran and ran. Though, it wasn’t long before the silence broke with the cellar doors creaking loudly open.
A low hiss emerged from his vocals, hands forming into tight fists and turning his head away from the light. It hurt, to be honest. Not seeing light for years upon years, of course it would make ones eyes sting. It was after, the silence returned; and Alak-Hul was the one to break it.
“ ...Have you come all this way to mock? To jeer?” The darkblade began, head slowly turning to get a good look of the dark figure that was engulfed in the light. All that he could see was the dark outline of something small. Knight like, even.
A scoff came from him, using his ax to arise from his spot and lift him to his feet. ”And who are you then? Come to deliver a message from the ‘mighty king’?”
